Perfekt gelegen und trotzdem außerhalb
Pros:

Frühstück fabelhaft und genügend Auswahl. Zimmer sauber, täglicher Zimmerservice wenn man wünscht. Abends kann man auch an der Bar etwas trinken. Mit Mietwagen wunderbar zu erreichen, genügend Parkplätze vorhanden. Zimmer mit Klimaanlage. Zimmer totale Ruhe, außer jemand hört zu stark Fernsehen und da kann man die Rezeption anrufen, die das Problem klären.

Cons:

Pool im Winter kalt, bitte beachten, wird nicht geheizt.
Zimmer mit Klimaanlage, aber keine Wärme. Bettwäsche für uns ausreichend, wer etwas friert sollte ein dünnes Bettzeug mitbringen für oben drüber.

- Sehr gute Lage und tolle Aussicht
- Schöner Pool und gutes Gym
- Freundliches, aufmerksames und engagiertes Personal
- Leckere Zusatzoptionen beim Frühstück auf Bestellung (unbedingt machen!)

Cons:

- Rührei beim Frühstück ungenießbar (nutzt stattdessen die Zusatzoptionen z.B. Omelett)
- Zustand der Einrichtung (Badezimmer) und der Teppiche im Haus

Hotel und Service können wir nur weiter empfehlen. Würden wir beim nächsten mal wieder buchen.

Pros:

The stay was excellent, we only had breakfast (gluten free options, also bread but not every day), because dinner and lunch are from the menu, where there is not such a large selection of dishes. The room was clean. The service and people were great

Cons:

the noise of the recuperation was annoying, which was only turned off for a few hours at night, the light from the hotel corridor penetrated the room quite significantly.

Pros:

Decoración, limpieza y servicio espectaculares. Vistas desde la terraza del restaurante espectaculares y silencio ytranquilidad en general en toda la estancia.

Cons:

Muy mal acceso al hotel si te quieres desplazar al centro paseando al no existir aceras en la calle del hotel

Magnifique vue et jardin mais intérieur et chambres vieillissantes
Pros:

La vue et le restaurant ainsi que le lobby

Cons:

Les chambres sont vieillissantes surtout les tapis dans les chambres ou les rideaux de douches, l’insonorisation n’est pas très bonne non plus

Na krótki pobyt ok.
Pros:

Byliśmy tylko na jedną noc, ponieważ nasz lot był odwołany. Jedyny plus hotelu to piękne widoki na Funchal, szczególnie wieczorem.

Cons:

Dramatyczne śniadania, kompletnie nie spełniały standardu 5-cio gwiazdkowego hotelu. Wykładzina w pokojach i na korytarzach brudna. Czystość w pokoju też pozostawia wiele do życzenia. Włosy w łazience. Przestarzałe meble, widać, że hotel przeszedł już swój okres świetności i wymaga odświeżenia.

Cons:

I’d say it was more of a 4-star hotel rather than 5-star one. The room cleaning might have been okay, but multiple stains (on bathroom curtain, walls and room curtains) didn’t give the best impression. Breakfast was ok, but would’ve appreciated more variations of warm buffet. Gym facilities seem old or rarely used. Would also appreciate more parasols near the pool as they were only 2 or 3 available for all the hotel guests. Good location, nearest bus stop just a few min walk away. Friendly staff.

Excellent staff, excellent hotel except for the en-suite bathrooms which while functional needs work
Pros:

Breakfast was great good selection of food. Rooms were comfy with all the right facilities. The staff were amazing. The hotel gardens are beautiful so many nice places to sit and relax.

Cons:

The bath shower thing. Also the bathroom could have done with a privacy lock.

Comfortable stay
Pros:

Breakfast was good with a very nice view at the top to the town
The room can be a bit basic and dated but the view was very nice and the bed was comfortable. It was a comfortable stay and with the car it is easy to locate not far from the center

Cons:

Some modernization would be good to refresh the property

Pros:

Les jardins / aménagement extérieur

Cons:

Ils nous ont donné une chambre dont l'air climatisé ne fonctionnait plus. Leur solution a été de nous donner un ventilateur pour tenter de régler le problème, ce qui était insuffisant à notre avis. Nous avons demandé une compensation, mais qui ne nous a pas été accordé.
