Beautiful zen ambience

We were in town for one night for a concert and were looking for a hotel room in a walkable location so that we could explore town and get to the concert venue easily. Tradewinds was a perfect base for exploring town. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, with a comfortable and supportive mattress, luxurious pillows and towels, and gorgeous kimono style robes for lounging on our balcony. Our room had a soaking tub and fireplace. It was a hot night, so we sadly didn't use the fireplace, but wish we could have! The hotel staff was friendly and helpful: we arrived a bit early and they called us when our room was ready. We loved the breakfast basket, which had just enough food to fuel us for the day. We will definitely be back for a longer visit so we can enjoy their beautiful outdoor spaces and some of the amenities more!

Upon late arrival we learned not only that there was a saved space for us, but that it was a charger for our car. In morning we had another surprise, a breakfast basket of our choice.

Quaint boutique hotel with great views of the bay. Clean, spacious rooms were a great way to wind down for the day. Breakfast was good with several tasty options to choose from. If we are back in Carmel we will definitely stay here again.

Cute hotel with lots of greenery! The King room was spacious with cozy fireplace for cooler nights. About a 10 min walk to local restaurants and shops. Front desk staff were helpful, friendly and accommodating. Christine in particular made my stay just perfect! I was celebrating a birthday and she really went above and beyond to make it special and memorable. I appreciated the portable fan in the room for when I was getting ready and when it was a bit warmer. I would definitely stay here again.

Asian ambiance and quality furnishings/cleanliness. Staff provided excellent referrals for local dining.

The “ocean front” view was outstanding, as was the delivered breakfast! The tub and separate shower was something you don’t frequently encounter. Having a parking space reserved for just our car was also very much appreciated!

The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. The grounds are beautiful with tropical plants, fountains and fire pits. I loved having breakfast delivered to our room.

This is a very cute hotel with a tropical vibe with fountains and a fire pit and beautiful tropical plants. The rooms are serene, very clean and comfortable. They also bring a breakfast basket to your room. The only negative is that we did not have any hot water one of our days🥶 the tvs are a little small for the room also.

We had planned a hiking trip and the weather interfered and it rained the whole 3 days . It was too late to cancel but the Tradewinds generously upgraded us to a suite which made all the difference. We were able to have a living area in addition to the bedroom and hanging out was made much more comfortable. The front desk folks were all lovely and checked in with us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. The continental breakfast delivered to our room was generous and had options . At most hotels we skip the continental breakfast in favor of going out, but this was more than sufficient. The rooms themselves were comfortable and well located to downtown but still quiet. We would definitely stay again and recommend to our friends.

The property is very nice. The rooms are excellent. Very comfy beds and linens. Nicely equipped bathroom. The fireplace is a nice touch. Very close to the main walking Street which is super convenient.
