Nicolas Bayle
The room was barren with only one overhead light. There were no bedside lamps. The shower tended to allow water to flood the floor. The TV only had 12 channels (one in English). The wi-fi was so weak I was unable to post pictures. The AC didn't work.
The dinner buffet adequate but the breakfast selection was very limited. The highlight was the patio overlooking the city.
The room is worse than a backpacker lodge through Europe. The room contains a bed and a desk and a tiny bar fridge. Towels are gray and the size of tea towels and thread bare. The tiles are stained and the air conditioning does not work, no complimentary water. Fleas in the room
Kenzi Hotel would have been a grand hotel in its day, however as expected over the years it is starting to show wear and tear.
Our room was very tired and in need of update, when having a shower water wet all over bathroom floor, no hair dryer provided, the bath towels are very worn out and uncomfortable to use.
Pool area was lovely with beautiful views.
Dinner was buffet style, very good variety.Breakfast was average.
All staff were very friendly and attentive.
Kenzi Azghor Hotel in Ouarzazate was hands down our best stay in Morocco! The hotel exudes a majestic charm, perfectly blending luxury with authentic Moroccan vibes. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and attentive, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived.
The highlight has to be the breathtaking swimming pool and terrace, offering stunning views of the Atlas Mountains and the surrounding landscapes. It's the perfect place to relax and take in the beauty of Ouarzazate.
We were also blown away by the restaurant—both the buffet dinner and breakfast were incredible, with a wide variety of delicious options that catered to all tastes.
Our room was fantastic—spacious, comfortable, and equipped with all the modern amenities. The bed was plush, and the bathroom was large and immaculate.
If you're looking for a memorable stay in Ouarzazate, Kenzi Azghor is highly recommended!
I was offered a choice of rooms as the hotel was fairly quiet, I opted for a room that hadn't yet been refurbished as I preferred to have a room with a bath rather than just a shower. (Which the refurb rooms only have)
The room was a little dated, as to be expected. But the air con was absolutely brilliant! The temperature didn't dip below 25°c during any point of my stay (this was the through the night temperature) and hit 40°+ during the day, yet the room stayed like a fridge.
I had no mini bar / fridge upon arrival and mentioned it to reception who dealt with it immediately.
I was also left with a very healthy plate of fruit (bananas, apples & oranges) and a large bottle of water.
The rooms were cleaned daily with the bed made and towels changed.
The flat screen tv only had 1 English speaking channel and didn't appear to be smart to enable 'throwing' anything from my phone but that wasn't a disaster as I'd mainly come for the sun.
The pool was kept very clean and was around 20m in length. There were ample sunbeds due to the hotel being quiet, should it ever get full, there may be shortages. The pool area as a whole though was a fantastic viewpoint over the area and a welcome relief to cool off.
With a bargain flight from Ryanair, this was a very well priced 3 night break in the sun, away from typical resorts. I would definitely recommend doing this again for any sun worshippers wanting a cheeky trip away.
Room is very average and not modern. It has almost no amenties. Hotel needs renovation in many areas as it got very old. Despite that, i found it to be charming. Restaurant has an amazing view. Breakfast is average but it has some delicious moroccan pastries. The staff are very friendly and trying their best. Room cleaning was very well done. Hotel has no Elevator so I had to use the Escalator. Hotel is very well situated. A lot of good restaurants are at 5 minutes walk distance.
Wouldn’t recommend, clean but hotel needs work
It is a great hotel. We were two ladies clean very good decoration. Food is excellent. Safe for ladies
Walking distance from airport
We walked from airport. Also excellent location. It is a steep heel bare in mind
Great healthy food
Great for its price
Excellent staff and very nice hotel (very beautiful). Will definitely come back here again.
This hotel is predominantly used by groups on tours, treks, etc, and as such has a high turn around and is at its busiest mornings and evenings, indeed we chose this hotel waiting for someone returning from one such event. Therefore during the day the hotel is quiet, but most hotels in the area are from what we saw. We really enjoyed our stay here because we liked the atmosphere and energy the groups injected, the staff were very helpful, as was the general manager, who advised us they plan to refurb next year and attract more long term guests. The rooms are clean, but will benefit from the intended refurb. We had a suite which was large and roomy, there are 4 in the hotel. The view from the outside is amazing and the sunsets from here too. We hired a car and this is a good base to visit the local attractions from as well as drive further on the well maintained roads to places such as Dades Gorges and Fint Oasis. The food is buffet style to cater for the groups, which is OK, there is plenty of it and its good value. There are some amazing restaurants locally if you prefer something more, such as La Kasha des Sables, and just down the road there is the Full Sun Restaurant, which was amazing value. All in all we would return this is a pleasant hotel, which is very very good value.
compared with other morocco riads this is the best
Suosittelen.
Stay was OK
Biggest issue was with Wi-Fi
belle piscine
Don't hesitate to book at this hotel, you will like it for sure. The staff are very professional, the rooms are very clean & comfortable and the swimming pool is just amazing. This is the third time we stay at KENZI AZGHOR and we will be back again.
