Pros:

The location was good.

Cons:

There is absolutely no soundproofing. You can hear people in other rooms, in the hall. The rooms are ok, but large gap under door. The cleaning was mediocre. The parking is a cluster.
I was unhappy with the quality for what we paid. Not anywhere up to my standards.

Very nice hotel. Close to shopping.
Pros:

It was great
Pros:

We loved being together in one suite and having 2 bathrooms. I loved my shower!

Cons:

Parking was really bad. The heating unit was very loud and breakfast was just ok.

Overall a decent stay for the price
Pros:

Liked the interior design of the building, staff was friendly.

Cons:

Didn’t like the struggle of finding parking. Didn’t like that the shower only has half a partition vs a door causing water to get everywhere. Also didn’t like not having coffee in the room and having to go down to the lobby for coffee.

Pros:

location to walk town for meals and shopping was excellent

Cons:

Hotel felt like it needed an update. Our room windows were not tight fitting, therefore the wind howled through them all night long.

Pros:

Good location.

Cons:

The 2nd floor rooms with “lake views” really don’t have much of a lake view because of the trees. It’s a bit deceptive to call these rooms “lake view” and charge extra.

Someone says it’s taken care of and no need to worry and then they reach out and act like nothing was ever discussed. Aw
Pros:

The staff at this hotel is an absolute nightmare. I have never left a bad review in my life and let me tell you this place truly deserves it!

Cons:

I called 6 months ago to make sure all the accommodations we needed for the driver we hired was handled. They promised me up and down everything would be taken care of. Day of my rehearsal dinner I get a call telling me they can’t let the bus park there, after it was already confirmed he could. They also wouldn’t let the driver check into
His room after I called the hotel and stopped in there and left them a note telling them to let him check in.

Pros:

Beautiful view from our balcony and amazing location; walked around entire lake and all over town with ease. Modernized older building with some maintenance issues but great free breakfast and staff!

Terrible service and very thin walls very loud
Pros:

I am writing to formally complain about my recent one-night stay in room 105. Given the premium price point of over $300 for a single night, the experience fell well below acceptable standards.

During my stay, I encountered two significant issues:
Noise Disturbance: There was a loud, slamming doorway directly beneath my room that caused constant noise throughout the night, preventing restful sleep. When I reported this to the front desk, the staff member on duty, Tom, was dismissive and unhelpful.
Facility Failure: The shower in my room was completely blocked. It flooded the bathroom floor within three minutes of use, which caused significant inconvenience while I was attempting to prepare for my day.
Most concerning was the lack of support. When I alerted the front desk to the flooded bathroom, I was initially denied a late checkout to resolve the issue, and no alternative facilities (such as a gym or a clean room) were offered. After arguing and receiving a late check out at 12:30, when I returned to the room at 11:00 AM, my key card had been deactivated prematurely. Gaining access required multiple interactions with the same front desk staff, whose demeanor was dismissive and unprofessional.

This level of service and maintenance is unacceptable for a hotel at this price point. I would appreciate a response regarding how you plan to rectify this situation.

The Laurel has seen better days
Pros:

The hotel has seen better days. The rooms, hallways, and common areas were in rough shape, and the carpets and furniture were stained. The pictures on the website don't reflect the current condition of the hotel.

My wife and I were quite disappointed and left the hotel after 1 night of our planned 3-night stay.
