Very nice hotel and perfect location to convention center. Housekeeping did a great job daily. Shout out to 2 individuals. Mike in the lobby was such a pleasant and helpful gentleman. Looked forward to seeing his smile daily. Also, Josh out front. He was always so nice and wanting to help in any way he could. Employees like that are what makes this a great hotel!
We were attending a convention at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center for 5 days, and this Marriott is directly across from the convention center, making our ability to enjoy the conference so much easier!
Our late-night check-in was expedited by Cesar, who went out of his way to accommodate us after we ended up booked at the wrong Marriott a few blocks away and had to rebook here. He couldn’t have been any kinder or more helpful, securing us a lovely room with a great view that allowed us to see amazing sunsets with the bridge as a background and watch the freighters and cruise ships in the busy Mississippi shipping lanes.
He was able to get us access to the M Club Lounge in the lobby, a private area open 24 hours per day, serving a fabulous breakfast from 6:30 am to 10 am, hors d’oeuvres from 5:30 pm to 7 pm, desserts from 7 pm to 9 pm, and snacks/coffee/drinks available any time. This was so helpful in allowing us access to a great breakfast each morning prior to heading over to the convention center.
When our return flight was delayed by several hours, Cesar was able to secure a late checkout for us.
In summary, this was a perfect hotel for attending the convention and Cesar was a truly exceptional employee who went above and beyond to make our stay fantastic! He was so superb we felt compelled to speak with the hotel management to compliment them on such an exemplary employee!
Highly recommended!!
Clean facilities and friendly staff!
So as a Marriott member and frequent user I normally have nothing but great reviews but my experience this time was less than desired! The customer service and overall experience were horrible. While location is great if attending event at convention center, I would avoid this at all cost!
My wife and I have had the pleasure of staying at the New Orleans Marriott Warehouse District on several occasions. This establishment is an upscale hotel situated within a beautifully renovated 19th-century cotton mill. It is conveniently located in the Arts/Warehouse District, directly opposite the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. The property recently underwent a comprehensive redesign, which modernized its 332 guest rooms and public areas, giving it a fresh and contemporary feel. What truly distinguishes this hotel is its exceptional hospitality staff. The front desk personnel are consistently friendly and engaging. The concierge and bellman (MIKE) provided invaluable assistance, and the Valet Manager, Josh C. was remarkably thoughtful and outgoing each day. He even provided chilled water for our wedding party upon their return from the park, due to the warm weather. On-site dining options include Easy Virtue, a contemporary Creole restaurant and bar, a Starbucks, and the M Club lounge for eligible members. Amenities encompass a rooftop outdoor pool, a 24-hour fitness center, a business center, and over 24,000 square feet of meeting space. Valet parking is available for approximately $50 per day, while some nearby independent lots offer self-parking for around $30.
We chose this spot as it was in a safe area near the WW2 museum but not too near to the French Quarter. Hotel lobby and rooms were clean and in great shape. We did use the lounge each day and found it worth visiting multiple times. Sometimes the wait staff wasn’t very cordial and also didn’t mind taking up food earlier than stated. We had several drinks at the bar and found that staff quite friendly.
The valet guy was awesome! Great room very clean nice hotel
Amazing hospitality! Claudia and Allison were spectacular hosts ❤️
The location was great.
They do not know how to cook eggs. Ordered over medium and got well done.
Two employees particularly stood out. This was a very chaotic weekend with a cheer competition and a volleyball tournament, and Josh in the valet department was fantastic. We came in at the busiest time and he handled everything flawlessly and efficiently. I think he was at work every time I went downstairs, and he even remembered my name and my family’s name. He’s the greatest and I hope he’s rewarded in turn!
Sergio at the front desk also was incredible. We checked in at a chaotic time, and he calmed down a very large crowd. He was very quick in getting us checked in and handled all of our requests throughout our stay. He’s awesome.
Good Day, Just wanted to really shout out Sergio from the front desk team along with Josh from Valet for making my girlfriend and I genuinely pleased & happy for helping us with our needs and accommodations to help us feel comfortable and welcomed to New Orleans since we were traveling from Los Angeles. In addition, we were there partake in the Fan Expo and the convention center across the street and Josh gave us helpful directions and recommendations that were taken and pleased! Please show them love and we appreciate you guys truly.
