Room upkeep could have been a lot better.

Location is a very super exciting location in heart of the retail district.

My wife and I have stayed in other Homewood suites in the past. We were amazaed at how the floor in the kitchen was coming apart. We also turned on the shower and the shower head shooting water all over the bathroom. The bathroom sink was not repaired properly. The caulking build up was all around the faucet head. Trash all out in front of the door where you enter the hotel. Rusted door hinges, kitchen light switch had grease build up, not cleaned well. Again staying at many hotels the represent Hilto that was not up to Hilton standards.

What I loved
I loved the location cause that was my first time there and I really don't like to drive places and staying there I didn't have to move my car. Everything was walking distance and me and my daughter loved it. It was her birthday and she always wanted to go to the cheesecake factory it was easy to find and walking distance . So for us it was a lovely location and lovely place to stay.

What a Great Stay!
Pros:

In late November through mid December, a close friend was being treated at the Mayo Clinic. We were fortunate enough to find a great suite at your facility. Our friend being treated at the Mayo Clinic stayed at the Homewood Suites-St John's Center from November 23 to December 16, 2025. We occupied a suite on the second floor which offered 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room and fully equipped kitchen with three televisions. The accomodations were excellent; clean and comfortable. The house keeping people were great! The staff at the desk were great and the breakfast was wonderful! These folks set their standards high and lived up to them. I almost forgot to mention the location. It is ideally situated in a large shopping center which has something for everyone's taste and is surrounded by excellent eateries! The proximity to the Mayo Clinic is ideal and it's only minutes away from Jacksonville Beach. What's not to like?
