Very clean and comfortable, I would definitely stay again. Staff friendly and engaging
Pros:

The location was central to all the amenities, my room was very comfortable and clean.

Cons:

The parking is limited but there is a car park not far from the hotel you can use. This isn't ideal though if you have to carry heavy bags.

Pros:

It's a really warm, welcoming pub/hotel with cheerful decor and a delicious breakfast. The staff were incredibly friendly. It's quite warren-y inside and it's not super chic - but for rooms above a pub you couldn't ask for anything better. Not noisy at all. Very clean.

Pros:

Die Lage ist für Fussgänger perfekt. Die Mitarbeitenden waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Qualität des Essens fanden wir sehr gut.

Cons:

Zufahrt zum Parkplatz ist etwas knifflig. Wenn man aber den Anweisungen genau folgt, findet man den PP.

Safety and hygiene rules were violated - horrendous stay from start to finish
Pros:

Absolute overpriced nightmare from start to finish from parking horrors to high baths and uncontrolled scalding showers - from steep uneven access steps to the room to no shampoos or hand towels and the most uncomfortable bed in the world literally a foot from the ground and the tip outside our window beggars belief

Cons:

The main safety hazards (the scolding hot shower and inability to cool it manually and the steep uneven stairs to get to the room) and the hygiene (multiple hairs on the bed).

I’m awaiting the manager response before I report this establishment to Trading Standards - I will be Reporting the hotel for a breach of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which states services must be carried out with "reasonable care and skill." A scalding shower fails this test.

Environmental Health: I will also Report the hotel to the local council's Environmental Health department regarding the unsafe water temperature and the squalid, blocked fire exit paths pictured below outside my window.

I would like to focus heavily on safety violations and breach of description:The Scalding Shower (3rd Degree Burns): This is my strongest upset. A shower that causes burns and has no temperature control is a severe health and safety violation. I told Marie the lovely cleaner to please go take a look!!

Misrepresentation of Accessibility: The property did not warn guests about the steep, uneven stairs or the high bath, and I was not given an accessible room option!

The hotel has failed a basic duty of care for guests with mobility constraints. I have an acl so a weak knee that can give way.

Hygiene Failures: Finding black hairs on the bed is a breach of basic hygiene standards.

Great stay, made even better by the staff
