Amazing family hotel
Pros:

Wow wow wow! This hotel has been absolutely fantastic for a family holiday!
The rooms are spacious and clean! Hotel itself is absolutely spotless!
Pools are great and there is a brilliant little water park on site for the kids! There’s even a couple of slides in a toddler pool for the little ones.
Food was okay, it did become a bit samey at the buffet.
Snack bar was brilliant, with burgers, hot dogs etc on from 10pm -6 pm so there was always something to eat if you didn’t like the buffet.
Branded spirits and bottled water were part of the All inclusive which is unheard of in most hotels!
Now the star of the show was the kids entertainment. There was kids club running for most of the day and the staff were absolutely incredible!! I felt like my child was safe and cared for and she absolutely adored it! Special shout out to Lucia. She was amazing with my daughter and my daughter loved her and felt so comfortable with her! Thank you so much to the animation team!!
Would highly recommend this hotel for families! Especially if you have slightly younger children! We will absolutely be back!!

Pros:

La struttura è estremamente coinvolgente! Ben organizzata e pensata per ogni esigenza.

Cons:

Purtroppo noi abbiamo avuto un problema con la camera poiché aveva un cattivo odore anche se dopo averlo fatto presente allo staff, il giorno seguente ci è stata cambiata stanza.

Superb Bitacore
Pros:

We have previously stayed in the Bitacore about 4 years ago, but before we booked to come back I read some reviews just to ensure the hotel was the really good hotel that we had previously stopped in.
After reading some reviews like -
The food was quite repetitive and boring.
Rooms were basic etc
Entertainment not the best.
Anyway I went ahead and booked the Bitacore (half board) and I can confirm that all the above reviews are wrong.
The food is very very good with different choices everyday. The only thing I would say and I think a lot of people have commented is - there is not enough staff and plates build up on tables.
Rooms were large and kept clean. The only comment to make is there needs to be more drawer space in large rooms.
My last comment is that there is not enough Sunbeds if the hotel is full.

Great extended family holiday destination

A 5 out of 5 experience! We will be back! There were 14 family members from different parts of the UK who met up at The Bitacora for a family holiday. The facilities suited all of us - whilst the kids spent their time at the kiddies pool, the grandparents headed to the adult pool area for some peace. Perhaps the major weakness was the animation team. Some were not punctual, so some activities did not start on time.
One of our party was wheelchair bound. Whilst the accessible bathroom was great, it was almost impossible to get the wheelchair into it without moving the bed.
Two of the party were on a strict gluten-free diet. Apart from the bread, there did not appear to be any gluten-free options such as cereal. We discovered that the pool bar offered gluten-free pizzas, but these could not be ordered on the screens which did not show allergens.

Lovely hotel but being so ill ruined my trip, mentioned to staff on reception with no real comment.
Pros:

From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly. The room was spacious and very clean, the gym was great.

Cons:

The twin beds… with wheels that would not lock so would move.
Got food poisoning from the food - very careful with food choices at hotel, sadly had an horrendous night and was so ill, thankfully a chemist across the road & spent €42 on meds.

Pros:

I had the pleasure of staying at your beautiful hotel. All the staff from management to the cleaners were so professional..The food was off a exceptional high standard. I couldn't fault anything about to write about i shall return in July for a 14 night stay.

Great family holiday
Pros:

We stayed at the Bitàcora for 9 nights at the end of February and have just returned home. The hotel itself is very nice, modern and clean. There is a wide selection of food available in the restaurant. However, the hotel seemed to be understaffed. Staff in the restaurant often seemed stressed and there were two occasions that staff members were curt and rude to us. The entertainment staff are great at the mini disco - our toddler loved it! The rooms were always well cleaned. There is a lack of storage space in the room, which is the only downside. The bathroom has a nice big walk in shower.
There is a room in the hotel for kiddies at night time but we never got told about this by reception so never actually used it or understood what it was for. The reception staff were friendly and helpful but at initial check in not much info was given so you were sort of left to figure out the hotel by using the App.
Overall, it is a nice hotel in a fantastic location. They need more staff in the restaurant and perhaps a more comprehensive introduction to the hotel upon check in. We would recommend this hotel to families with kids 5+ as the slides at the pool were too big for our toddler and he couldn’t use the kids club without our supervision either.

Great hotel…. loved the food
Pros:

Great location and spotlessly clean. Plenty of sun beds and beautiful pools (some impressive slides for the kids… and the big kids!). Rooms are spacious and modern. Reception staff were helpful and polite. We were half board and we thought the food was fantastic. There was plenty of meat but the choice of hot and cold fish was exceptional. Compliments to the chefs !
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would return.
