This was the most amazing stay! I surprised my Fiancée with a trip for her Birthday. She was extremely pleased with our stay. The employees were so sweet. They wished her a happy birthday. They were accommodating to all of our needs. Amazing hospitality! The room was immaculate with the perfect view of the city. The amenities were amazing. Our favorite was the Timber House. We love live music and every performance was amazing. They even sang Happy Birthday to my Fiancée. Big thanks to Larry, the bartender there. He curated the best cocktails and made our nights with his amazing energy. Very foreigner friendly. We’ve stayed at a few hotels in Seoul. Overall this was by far the best! We will be back.
No complaints
One of the nicest properties I've stayed at in Asia. We were offered a complimentary upgrade to a premium suite which was incredibly spacious (with a separate living area, bedroom area, and massive bathroom). The amenities (spa, gym, pool) were exquisite. They provide Le Labo branded toiletries in bathrooms and Aesop toiletries in the spa. These small but effective details and offerings made our stay here feel so luxurious.
早餐好吃!
I love the layout of these rooms - lots of usable space, lighting and temp controls next to the bed, spacious and bright bathroom. The location is good for CoEx, staff are friendly, and the breakfast is very good quality with a broad range of options. The Le Labo bath products are lovely. Wifi very fast.
The hotel is starting to show some age in places. The Toto toilet seems like a lower end model, and the hair dryer needs upgrading. All the analog clocks show different times (in addition to being unnecessary)
The gym is only open 6am-10pm, which is limiting (especially for people with jetlag). Also, I was told sneakers were required and asked to leave the gym and go rent some, even though my personal trainer advises I lift weights barefoot. and someone else was in crocs. Frustrating.
There is a ton of construction around the hotel. The windows are well-insulated but some noise gets through. If you are a light sleeper, ask for a higher floor.
As a Hyatt Globalist for over 12 years with extensive experience staying at top-tier hotels worldwide, I was very disappointed with the service at Park Hyatt Seoul. The overall experience fell well below what I expect from the Park Hyatt brand.
I stayed at this hotel to celebrate my birthday and informed the hotel in advance. I was told that a suite upgrade would be provided. However, when I arrived at 3:00 p.m., the suite was not ready and I was told it would be available around 4:30 p.m. The staff offered me a downgrade to a regular room for immediate check-in, which I found unusual, so I chose to return later. When I came back at 4:30 p.m., the suite was still not ready, and I ultimately waited until around 5:00 p.m. to check in.
During this extended wait, the staff were unfriendly and disengaged. I was not offered a place to sit or any refreshments, which is typically standard at comparable Hyatt properties in similar situations. The staff appeared focused on their screens rather than acknowledging guests or showing any sense of care. I also asked whether an alternative premier suite might be available due to the delay but was told this would require an additional charge, with no flexibility shown.
While the room prepared with a small birthday cake and the breakfast itself was nice, the service experience was deeply disappointing. During a recent two-week trip to Asia, I stayed at several other Hyatt properties, all of which provided significantly better service. Unfortunately, Park Hyatt Seoul did not live up to Hyatt’s top-tier standards, and I do not plan to return unless the location leaves no alternative.
I like that it was clean, location was perfect (easy 10 min walk to Coex mall), service was impeccable . Everyone from the bell service to the concierge, reception and the duty manager were very willing to please and go above and beyond what is expected to delight the guest.

كل شي حلو وجميل
We had a wonderful stay at Park Hyatt Seoul with my parents. The location is excellent, conveniently close to COEX Mall and the City Airport Terminal, and the complimentary taxi service for guests was a great added benefit.
Although I can’t mention individual staff names, every team member we encountered was professional, warm, and genuinely caring. From the very beginning, the welcome was excellent. The front desk proactively offered early check-in, and the staff consistently anticipated our needs — including clearly explaining Hyatt member benefits (even as a basic Discoverist member) before we had to ask. This made our stay feel effortless and truly relaxing.
The breakfast was also very enjoyable — compact in size but thoughtfully curated with high-quality selections. The sauna, while small, was more than enough for me to relax after my morning workouts, and the gym was excellent.
For dining options, if you’d like to enjoy an authentic Korean fermented soybean stew, there is a great local restaurant just around the corner at a very reasonable price. In addition, COEX Mall is easily accessible via the underground walkway, offering countless restaurant choices, as well as food courts in the nearby Hyundai Department Store.
Overall, the proactive service and heartfelt hospitality truly set this hotel apart. We felt genuinely cared for and would happily return.
I stay a lot. and enjoy the spacious rooms, amenities, spa, and the food. from cornerstones breakfast and timber lounges drinks adn entertainment is an awesome valve in a perfect location

On my second visit to Park Hyatt Seoul, this time with Globalist status, the service went above and beyond my expectation. I had stayed at other luxury hotels in the interim, including at other Park Hyatts and even at this location last year (which I remember fondly and is the reason I booked it again this year), and somehow they still managed to exceed my expectations.
The concierge was helpful with restaurant booking information, and even helped us secure train tickets to Busan and back, so we didn't have to fiddle with trying to get a foreign credit card accepted on the korail site or go through a third party site.
The valet downstairs stored many of our bags while we did a weekend trip to Busan and returned everything to us packaged even more nicely than when we left it with them (they had placed my already packaged souvenir in a separate bag marked fragile without my asking them or even hinting, and my coat was hung in a Park Hyatt garment bag not just for their safekeeping, but also for me to take with me to the airport).
I have had similar amazing experiences at other Park Hyatt properties as well, most recently in Kyoto. They really just unburden you of everything as soon as you arrive, and ensure that you are fully taken care of until you are absolutely beyond their reach (aka they help load everything into your taxi to ensure it is properly stored for the ride and thoroughly instruct the taxis so they know exactly whom in your party is going to which terminal with which bags).
You will also find this property to be a great value.
Finally, despite not being centrally located, Samseong station entrance is right outside the front door, so even with extreme weather conditions you can easily get around without much trouble.
All the staff were amazing. We were on a flight arriving very early and they were able to check us in at midday. Everyone is very helpful and smiley - the bellboys and girls, front of house, lounge staff, bar staff. Concierge arranged a whole bunch of shared and private tours for us, which were all great.
The speakeasy bar in the basement had very loud (too loud) music on Thursday and we were told by staff we could only sit on a certain table if we bought a bottle. No one was enjoying the loud music, you couldn’t talk to your friends. For this reason it was half empty, please have a rethink what you are trying to do here. The day before was nice as it was a violinist and the right level of background music. I personally didn’t think the cocktail quality stood up to the £16 price tag tbh.
I had a truly relaxing solo stay at Park Hyatt Seoul.
The highlight of my experience was the staff – especially a kind manager who helped me when I forgot my earphones. I had only just mentioned it to the concierge downstairs when I was invited back upstairs, where the manager kindly reassured me and even offered a complimentary tea while they searched. It turned a stressful moment into a lovely memory.
I also want to mention Lilly at the front desk, who was warm and professional at check-out.
The room had a breathtaking view, the rooftop pool was beautiful, and both the room service and spa food were delicious. I also appreciated the complimentary welcome wine in the room.
Overall, I felt cared for and at ease. Highly recommended for solo travelers looking for a luxurious and personal experience.
