All good
Pros:

Bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. Hot water readily available and plentiful.

Cons:

The stairwell was a little underlit. The door on our room was sticky and didn't close well.

Pros:

Excellent pool facilities - was the main reason we booked over the competitors around the corner.
Friendly staff and clean room. Comfortable beds and good bathroom facilities.
Ample parking and close to the highway.

Cons:

Some of the hotel room doors seemed like they were off the hinges and would rattle and creak. This caused some issues sleeping. Some of the outlets in the hotel room didn't work, but enough did so we could have light and charge our devices. Would have preferred some additional breakfast options like scrambled eggs or pancakes.

It was fine.
Pros:

First of all, the staff was amazing. Truly. That must be said. The beds were comfortable. And it was very quiet. It is in close proximity to Higgins Lake, which was where we were visiting. It was fine for what we needed.

Cons:

The first room we were put in smelled like B.O. and rotten burritos. It was so gross. We asked to be switched immediately and they got that done quickly. The next room we were put in smelled fine but it did have pee on the toilet seat so that kind of makes you wonder how clean the rest of the room was. There aren't enough outlets for charging phones, etc. but that's how it is in most hotel rooms. Also, the TV seemed freakishly small. Like, really tiny.

It kept us out of the storm while camping
Pros:

The staff was competent, kind, and courteous, I had to wash clothes and they're able to provide me with the laundry detergent and a dryer sheet.

Cons:

I wish the breakfast bar had more options, but I get it small hotel middle of nowhere. At least there was food.

Nice for an overnight stay.
Pros:

Very clean and courteous staff!

Cons:

It would have been nice to have a comfortable chair to sit in! The tiny wooden chair was horrible! The bed was not a queen as stated, it was only a double!

Very surprised; great experience.
Pros:

Cleanliness. We have stayed at Super8's in the past. Were very surprised at this one. Great job! We were at Higgins Lake and this hotel was one of the few options. It exceeded our expectations. Must be great management and labor available that knows how to serve.

The hotel has potential, but the owner has to do an overhaul of some issues.
Pros:

The front desk staff was very friendly. The location is right off the highway. A light breakfast was provided for those that wanted it.

Cons:

1. I had to pull a hug hair clog out of the shower drain to keep the water from pooling on my feet while showering. The hair clog was not mine, so that experience was very disgusting.
2. Every time you entered or left the hotel, there were 2-8 smokers and people vaping right outside the entrance which is an awful smell and way to enter and leave the hotel.
3. The room was horribly humid causing the bed to feel damp.
4. Instead of the usual soft blanket for the bed, it was an itchy one.

This is our favorite stopping point when going north in MI and vacationing near Higgins Lake
