The mgr tried to fix things but it was a mess.
When first went to room, there was a cockroach on ceiling, blood on a comforter, clumps of hair on another and dirt on carpet. The “spa pool” was cold and dirty. Breakfast was horrible along w/rude staff.
Room was clean with lots of space check in was really quick
There was no soap, both bottles I. The shower were empty, and there was 0 bars of soap. Tried to call the front desk about soap and WiFi w password and the line was so statically I could no communicate with them over the phone. Mattresses were way too hard, but that I understand some people prefer that. Breakfast took to long this may of just been a coincidence that everyone went at the same time but did not seem like the breakfast facilities were near big enough.
Easy check in.The room had 2 (small) double beds. Breakfast looked ok.Room was clean.
Parking was limited. Staff at desk was just ok. Didn’t like questions. Odor immediately upon entering hotel. Pool was discussing with a hose in the pool. Water looked very dirty. No soap in bathroom to wash hands. Containers for shampoo conditioner and body wash completely empty. Only 2 towels ( there was 3 of us). We went to front desk and told her. She handed me a rolled up towel and an opened bar of soap. Asked for a bottle of water and that was a chore for her to get. The carpet was very dated and stained. The beds were very uncomfortable. For the price we paid I expected a cleaner better place to stay. We will not be back.
The breakfast was great and the location to cedar point was great
The water in the shower you have to play with one minute it is hot 30 seconds later it was ice cold. It took forever for the room to cool down and the sheets did not fit the bed.

Room was clean but a little smelly . Breakfast was very basic.
The lobby smelled funky like a dead horse. The elevator needs a good vacuum it smelled funky also.

Overall, it wasn’t very clean. It was difficult to find a maid to straighten the room and provide clean towels which were very scarce. The toilet bowl was not clean and whatever mats came didn’t seem to be aware of it. The room full length mirror was a smeared mess.

Distance to Cedar Point is only 16mins
The beds needed replacement like 10-15 years ago

And don't advertise 2 queen beds when they are clearly full size

The staff was very pleasant and the room itself met expectations.
Our bed covers had dirt on both and one had an old used bandaid stuck to it. The pool was not advertised correctly, much smaller and shallower. The breakfast was not very good and made me sick one of the mornings. The use of AI slop on the advertising sign out front was disheartening and frankly one of the reasons I will not recommend anyone to stay nor will I be returning to this hotel.
No WiFi available during our stay
The bed was comfortable
When we arrived .no towels, dirty lotion bottle in sink. No soap , toilet paper empty roll so put in spare, mirror streaked up in bathroom,, dirty tissue beside bed. There was a housekeeper in hall & she helped us get everything. Whoever cleaned that room before we got there was in a hurry
