It was pleasant and staff were wonderful.
Pros:

Location, free parking, room was very attractive

Cons:

Sparse breakfast ( bagels and toast), non-functioning coffeemaker, toilet running- we reported and they did repair. Bathroom very hot during this Aug stay.

Southern charm
Pros:

The charm and hospitality of the South shone brightly during our stay. We loved this hotel and its staff. Fabulous buffet breakfast and ideal location for getting around. Thankyou for a wonderful experience.

The location is decent and it is a nice old building which has a historical aspect to it.

Cons:

There was a lot wrong with the place. We stayed for 3 nights and every night had a new issue. The building is old and needs an update. The AC was too loud the first night and the blinds did not close. Then when we were moved to a second room the second night the card didn't work and that took ages to resolve. They offer a breakfast but only tell you when you are checking in that it is not a hot breakfast and just continental. It is not hard to make a small hot option for breakfast considering they have a restaurant attached. The breakfast space is far too small to accommodate all the guest but they deter people from getting breakfast by having terrible options.

We thought the area was perfect and plan to stay here again.
