Pros:

Durante a nossa estadia no Hotel Quinta do Estreito por cinco dias, tivemos uma experiência globalmente bastante positiva.

A localização é excelente, o ambiente é agradável e o atendimento merece destaque — os funcionários foram sempre atenciosos.

Como pontos a melhorar, a iluminação do quarto deixou a desejar, sendo demasiado fraca para o conforto esperado. Além disso, a ausência de tomadas USB para carregamento de dispositivos pode ser um inconveniente nos dias de hoje. É possível que, por se tratar de um hotel com características mais tradicionais, exista uma intenção de preservar o seu estilo clássico, o que pode explicar a falta dessas atualizações.

No geral, é um espaço acolhedor, com potencial para oferecer uma experiência ainda melhor com pequenos ajustes.

A nice place for a short Madeiran holiday.
Pros:

There was sometimes a shortage or lack of items at breakfast which was disappointing

Cons:

Some welcome items in the bedroom fridge eg. Water, juice, nuts, rather than arriving to an empty fridge.

Great base for exploring Madeira
Pros:

Nice location in Camara do Lobos, close to Funchal yet much quieter and more authentic area, offering many options for shopping or dining (a big supermarked 2 min walking distance). Hotel is charming, comfortable, it has an elegant main building, nice and big garden, own parking, pool, good restaurant. Amazing views. Great base for exploring Madeira as it is close to main roads.
Staff is friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was OK, but could be better. There was always good fresh bread, basic choices of cheese, ham, vegetable and fruit, some warm choices (fried eggs, sausages, beans, scrambled eggs, bacon), yoghurt, sweets and pastry.
Our room was clean, big enough, large beds, small fridge, nice view from the balcony.

Cons:

The hotel is older, and needs to be maintained better. Not good Wi-Fi. Breakfast could be better, like more choices, better warm options, better quality of meat and cheese products. Juices were from syrup, probably from the closest supermarked, and the coffee from machine wasn't drinkable at all. Tea was excellent.
