Great base for exploring Madeira
Pros:

Nice location in Camara do Lobos, close to Funchal yet much quieter and more authentic area, offering many options for shopping or dining (a big supermarked 2 min walking distance). Hotel is charming, comfortable, it has an elegant main building, nice and big garden, own parking, pool, good restaurant. Amazing views. Great base for exploring Madeira as it is close to main roads.
Staff is friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was OK, but could be better. There was always good fresh bread, basic choices of cheese, ham, vegetable and fruit, some warm choices (fried eggs, sausages, beans, scrambled eggs, bacon), yoghurt, sweets and pastry.
Our room was clean, big enough, large beds, small fridge, nice view from the balcony.

Cons:

The hotel is older, and needs to be maintained better. Not good Wi-Fi. Breakfast could be better, like more choices, better warm options, better quality of meat and cheese products. Juices were from syrup, probably from the closest supermarked, and the coffee from machine wasn't drinkable at all. Tea was excellent.

Cozy vibe - clean environment - great location.
Pros:

I stayed there for two nights. I really like the hotel vibe. It's not a big resort but not small either. It's located close to Funchal yet the area is quite and offers many options for shopping or dining (got to know it's famous especially for Espetada :)) There is a parking spot for guests. Breakfasts were varied and delicious. The staff friendly and helpful. You can enjoy sauna and pool even out of the peak season but unluckily I didnt have a time to try it. It's perfect place for those who look for a place close to Funchal with a cozy vibe.

Cons:

The hotel is not new as many reviews mention but that certainly wasn't an issue for me. I liked the vibe of that place. I might only consider this location without own vehicle (never tried to reach it via public transportion).

Desayuno amplio y muy bueno todo!
Tuvieron un gran detalle y nos dieron una sorpresa con un postre muy rico al coincidir con nuestro cumpleaños. Simplemente de 10

Cons:

No podría decir absolutamente nada malo del hotel, todo perfecto!! Volvería a repetir sin duda!!
