Pros:

The great situation, a very short walking time to anywhere. Palazzo Pitti 30 minutes for example, on the other side of the river.
It was nice to come back "home" after many hours tourist-day.
Lovely park beside the hotel and a peaceful environment.

Una buona scelta in centro a Firenze: CONSIGLIATO!
Pros:

Un buon tre stelle in una splendida posizione su Piazza Indipendenza (dove fortunatamente abbiamo anche trovato un bellissimo mercatino dell'antiquariato, la terza domenica del mese da vedere!). Camera e bagno molto grandi e comodi. letti super con un matrimoniale grandissimo! Buona la colazione con vasta scelta di dolci (anche mini bomboloni, cannoli siciliani e le peschette dolci all'archermes) e un po' meno per il salato. Da notare che ogni giorno cambiava qualche opzione. Buon cappuccino anche se fatto con la macchinetta sembra di essere al bar. Nota di fascino i lampadari in vetro di Murano nelle camere e in sala colazione, il palazzo storico in cui si trova l'hotel ben arredato in stile fiorentino. Personale cortese e disponibile. Degno di nota anche il parquet in camera. Un buon rapporto prezzo/qualità. Ci torneremo volentieri in prossimo soggiorno a Firenze.

Cons:

Potrei segnalare solo qualche piccolo dettaglio: mancanza del bollitore in camera, del frigo a disposizione, fazzolettini di cortesia in bagno. Un piccolo consiglio poi di mettere una tendina da doccia o una paretina alla vasca per non bagnare tutto il pavimento facendo la doccia. Una cosa un po' strana mancavano i tappi al lavandino e al bidet.

Highly recommended hotel
Pros:

The receptionist was very kind to us. We arrived very late, so we missed the breakfast time, but they kindly allowed us to have breakfast after it had already closed. We are very grateful for that.

In addition, the hotel is close to the train station and the town centre, which is very convenient. The bed was very comfortable and everything was clean.

The breakfast offered a good variety of options, including fruits, cereals, toast, cakes, juice, and coffee.

Il receptionist è stato molto gentile con noi. Siamo arrivati molto tardi, quindi abbiamo perso l’orario della colazione, ma ci ha gentilmente permesso di fare colazione anche dopo che il servizio era già terminato. Ne siamo molto grati.

Inoltre, l’hotel è vicino alla stazione dei treni e al centro della città, il che è molto comodo. Il letto era molto confortevole e tutto era pulito.

La colazione offriva una buona varietà di opzioni, tra cui frutta, cereali, toast, torte, succo e caffè.

Un soggiorno breve, ma molto apprezzato

La colazione era molto gradevole. La posizione è di fronta a un parco, sicuramente meglio da attraversare durante la bella stagione, mentre nella stagione con poca luce appare meno affidabile. Questo non dipende assolutamente dalla gestione dell'hotel, che è perfetta, ma non tornerei da sola in autunno/inverno.

Cons:

Dell'hotel mi è piaciuto tutto, anche l'arredo che appare antico, ma non antiquato. Durante la mia breve vacanza era ospite anche una scolaresca, gestita bene dagli insegnanti e dagli operatori della struttura.

The location is excellent, close to both the city centre and Fortezza da Basso. The staff was kind, and the room was spacious. The hotel has strong potential but would benefit from further improvements and renovation. The price was ok for Florence standards.

Cons:

The breakfast was disappointing. There were around 20 sweet, pre-purchased options, but only one day included eggs (an omelet), which was cold, likely because no heated serving plates were used to keep the food warm. On the last day, there was also a cheese & ham pie that seemed either from the previous day or not properly defrosted, making it inedible.

Additionally, the furniture appeared to be over 50 years old, and at times the overall atmosphere gave the impression of an abandoned hotel.

Prachtig pand, vriendelijk personeel, mooie ruime kamer en goede locatie. 24/7 receptie.

Cons:

Ontbijt was wisselend. Soms vrij uitgebreid, andere dagen wat minder. Wel heel gezellige ruimte en koffie met verse melk. Lekkere taartjes.
