Loved the hotel
Staff fabulous
Room I was in had noises pipes
We have been before, and it's always lovely. I went this time as a treat for myself, and for my sister-in-law.
We both had full access to the spa, and pool. We also both had a facial, and a hand and foot massage. As a qualified massage therapist, I find it difficult to relax when having a treatment, however I felt extremely relaxed and chilled out during my treatments.
We also had food in the bar area, which was absolutely delicious.
The staff are always friendly and helpful.
I had a chat to one of the cleaning staff, and told her that she was doing a fantastic job, as it's always lovely and clean in there.
The location is good, as it's near Coventry.
We didn't have a room this time, but when we had one previously, it was lovely, the rooms were very quiet.
There are no children allowed, which is good if you want a break from children.
All in all, a wonderful chilled out, relaxing experience.
Cleanliness was excellent, staff friendly and professional
No air con available only electric fans
It was situated close to my daughter who I was visiting
That I had so far to walk to my room
The decor in the hotel was nice with nice furniture, the staff were really polite, helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a good location and easily accessible with lovely views over the golf course.
The food in the hotel restaurant wasn't great - my friend opted for the fish and it was evidently just a frozen fish that had been cooked. For the price we hoped it would have been fresh. There are not enough plug sockets in the bedroom. We had two lamps on either side of the bed, and there was no sockets to plug them into - pretty pointless. Only one plug available to charge our mobile phones, the other plug sockets did not work. The TV/radio channels on the TV didn't work. The windows don't open wide enough - it was red hot in the room and the fan was insufficient. Finally, the spa pool/jacuzzi was absolutely freezing. It certainly didn't qualify as a "hot tub", and it wasn't really enjoyable or relaxing at all in the spa.
I love the outside rooms because I can keep my dogs in their van right outside my door and there is a grassy area adjacent for walking. There’s a lovely beer garden where dogs are allowed and the food including breakfast is superb
Generally I have always found the staff excellent but on this occasion the breakfast waiting staff did not recognise that my husband had dementia and I felt awkward. I made a coffee, set it aside to make a second and went to grab some pastries while it was being made. They removed the first coffee but ignored me when I asked where it was. It was quiet, and there were several standing around watching me struggle, they seemed to find my husband’s behaviour amusing

No Aie condition in a hotel like this. There should be HVAC system in hotels of this style. Who uses fans in this day and age .
