Residence Inn Chantilly Dulles South

Great location. Extremely clean. Welcoming, efficient staff. Excellent breakfast.

I loved the cleanliness of the facilities and the friendliness of the staff!

It was “Fine”.

Staff was friendly. Breakfast was standard. I found the room to be clean, but showing signs of wear and tear.

It was going to be chilly over the weekend, so I got a room with a fireplace for some ambience. It didn’t work, and the staff was unable to remedy the situation over two days.

I’ll be staying at another similar property if I’m ever in that area again.

I've stayed at a number of Residence Inns and typically enjoy my experience, but sadly this location was the worst experience I've had at at Marriott. The room was pretty run down and had terrible noise and light pollution as it was located near the elevators and adjacent to the patio. Smokers on the patio regularly made it impossible to open windows and made the room smell like smoke regardless of the windows being open or closed. Check-in took over 30 minutes with only one person working and only one family checking in ahead of me; when I got to the desk, the individual working barely mumbled an apology. The internet cuts out and at least once a week was prohibitively slow. It was completely down at one point. Breakfast is on par with what you'd expect to find at long-stay hotels. Housekeeping staff is friendly and helpful. I had a much better experience at the nearby Staybridge Suites earlier this year and will stay there again if I'm back in the area.

It’s a good hotel all things considered. You know what you get with a Residence Inn. Kitchen, laundry, and no frills for an extended stay. The rooms are fine but the bathrooms desperately need an upgrade. The shower and bathtub faucet pumped the same amount of water at same time. Shower dripped all night. Kitchen faucet dripped for about 30 mins after use. Careful using the pans cause they will fill your room with smoke. AC works but only fills half the room so you are forced to set temp as low as possible.

The rest is good news. Staff are solid all around. Decent breakfast and they do a good job keeping the limited options stacked. Good eggs. Small gym, mostly for cardio, weights are negligible. Laundry works well. Plenty of parking. Target and Lidl close by for those needed groceries and other amenities. Limited walking options for restaurants, but good location off VA28.

I would stay here again.

I enjoyed my brief stay here. The hotel was very clean and spacious. The staff was so kind and helpful. I had left my AirPods in the room and the housekeeping informed the front desk staff which they had called me and I was able to get my AirPods back. Most importantly any questions I had. I enjoyed my stay there it was an overall pleasure.

Cleanliness and product.

Came with wife and daughter and was impressed by the cleanliness and amenities of the hotel. Room was fully stocked with a kitchen and everything you could need, will be booking again on my next trip.

Nice accommodations, clean and comfortable. Great breakfast buffet. Our room was a bit noisy (odd tapping noises, when water was running from other rooms, etc., but not enough to disrupt sleep).

Our room smelled musty or of mildew. Everyday when we would return from work, the smell greeted us.
The couch was sinking into itself, not comfortable.
There was no soap bar to wash your hands.

Room was a small apartment. One of the best places I have ever stayed. I wanted to stay a month! No disappointments at all.
