Ideal location, walking distance to excellent restaurants, shopping, light rail.
Second floor was closed for remodeling so access to pedestrian walkways was blocked. A slight inconvenience, but understandable.
The bed was comfortable and location was good for what I needed
Felt a bit overpriced for just the hotel itself not being that nice
I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel during my visit to Seattle. The room was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, making the experience even better.
The location is excellent, with easy access to the airport, restaurants, and nearby shopping areas. It was the perfect place to stay while exploring Seattle. I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit.
Room had dirty ice tongs and glasses. Breakfast buffet was not worth the price.
I love the location , close to the park , the mall , restaurants.
I always stay at the property , this time felt different. The rooms weren’t always clean, the beds were nearly made, not at arrival or even once was water left in the room , I had packages received to the hotel thru Amazon , I had to trace them thru which wasn’t ideal and on top of that you pay for each package received a fee- things that I would think are normal - I would pay if it was even made easy and sent to the room, in each time I received a package it was a story to find , and I would have to pick up myself from the reception. Not even being a Marriott member made a difference. There is no special treatment at all.
Nice and modern in a lovely area.
It would’ve been great to have a pack of useful things in the bathroom like shower cap, cotton tips, makeup pads etc.
Parking was expensive.
Cleanliness , location is walking distance to restraunts and shops
Stayed here for 3 nights in later April . Marriott Bonvoy platinum member (Hilton Diamond). Was in town for business meetings a block away at the Hyatt. Reserved a 1 King room.
positives:
-Great location in the heart of Bellevue. Easily walking distance to local shops, restaurants, parks, etc. Large (higher end) mall directly across the street. Plenty of well lit/marked areas outside for a morning run. it’s a little hilly, but you can also run past areas with beautiful homes and along the water in certain areas. Maybe a 5-6 mile loop.
-Check in was simple. Arrived early, but the front desk clerk was able to get me into a room. I didn’t get his name, but he was very friendly, and shared good information about the surrounding neighborhood. Hotel lobby was also clean, bright and smelled nice. Off to a good start.
-Room was fine. Comfortable bed, and actually had a piece of furniture with drawers that could fit my clothes when i unpacked. Same for a full sized closet. Also had plenty of outlets which made it easy to charge devices.
-Very good fitness center. Roomy with plenty of equipment. It was also kept clean. There is also an indoor pool at the hotel that is perfect size for some laps. it was never really busy, so finding a lane in the pool was easy. Also had a hot tub in the pool room along with an outdoor patio for relaxing.
-Hotel restaurant had a good breakfast spread and the service was attentive. One morning, the restaurant was crowded and they had to sit people close together at the bar b/c all the tables were taken.
Negatives:
-No platinum upgrade. No big deal, but worth mentioning.
-the ‘premium’ wifi (free for Bonvoy gold and above) was not very ‘premium’ feeling. i was consistently getting 7-10 mbps up/down which is kinda slow for premium WiFi. I would also frequently lose connectivity in my room, the lobby, fitness center and restaurant.
-The hotel restaurant was not always open. Made it difficult to get something to eat middle of the day. Luckily, there were plenty of restaurants near the hotel, but convenience of eating IN the hotel was not there.
-While my 1 King room was nice, there was too much furniture in the room. specifically a large chaise in front of the window. It took up a lot of floor space in the room, and it also made it difficult to get to the drapes to open/close. A smaller piece of furniture (sitting chair and small coffee table would be better). Also, the ‘desk’ in the room was awkward - felt like a random table in front of the TV console.
-Time for Westin to update their White Tea bathroom amenities. These ate starting to get stale, and the smell, while OK, is a little artificial smelling. Maybe upgrade to Aveda bath products (now that Renaissance is no longer using them).
In sum, the hotel was nice and the location was great. There are some aspects of the hotel that could use some changes/updates. overall, it was a decent stay with the location and staff attentiveness being highlights.
Clean and nicely located.
Loved it's centralized location and connection to the Bellevue Square properties
Clean and comfortable
Overpriced
Had a fabulous work stay for 3-days. The staff at check in was incredibly friendly and upgraded me to a larger room. The room was spacious and very cozy with quality views of the city.
The location is incredibly central to quality, ethnic restaurants (Indian, Thai, Seafood, Spanish and others) as well as stores and shops. The gym was quality and had a series of good workout sessions.
Overall the stay was fabulous and staff was gracious and helpful.
