Location was great. We came down to enjoy the Holiday atmosphere and watch the Seahawks beat the Rams at a near by Tavern. So fun!!!
What was VERY troublesome is I was charged twice for the stay. I prepaid through Booking.com then the hotel also charged me (I used my credit card for accidentals as well as parking). It was not corrected until I noticed it on my credit card statement almost a month later. It definitely makes me anxious about booking this way in the future. I'm pretty sure if I hadn't noticed it myself, the correction wouldn't have been noticed and I would have paid double for the saty.
Welcoming and friendly staff at the valet, front desk and restaurant
It would be easiest to get a location to your garage/parking
The location and facilities were very nice.
We had two suites reserved and they were ready an hour and a half late. There were a few small things that were messed up during our check-in.
Cookies and hot chocolate in the lobby for us at check in ...the kids were thrilled! Got large spacious adjoining rooms. Lots of fun at the pool.
The Westin Bellevue feels fresher than many other Westins and gets the basics right: convenient location, comfortable rooms and beds, and decent facilities. That earns it three stars from me.
However, to reach four or five stars, a hotel in this caliber and price range needs to demonstrate genuinely warm, high-level hospitality, especially toward elite guests. Here, it falls short.
Breakfast: for Bonvoy Platinum members and above, the breakfast benefit is limited to the continental buffet; upgrading to the full buffet costs an extra $10.
Room upgrades: upgrades are the usual “token upgrade” — a room a bit farther down the corridor with a slightly better view, even when clearly better rooms are available and should be offered according to the program rules.
Overall, these choices signal a weak hospitality culture. It’s not a hotel I’d look forward to returning to.
Don’t use the hot tub!!! My friend and I contracted Hot tub folliculitis. If you don’t know it’s is a bacterial skin infection from contaminated water that causes itchy, red, pus-filled bumps around hair follicles.
No response from the hotel, however Marriott offered me 60,000 points. This didn’t even cover the dr. visit or the $600 per. Ight room rate.
Then they wouldn’t share the records with me suggesting a larger cover up.
Be warned!
Excellent upkeep of the hotel!!!! The location is prime for walking to the many dinning and shopping locations. I really recommend you to visit.
