The property was excellent and staff were kind ,polite ,and helpful.
Nothing wrong with the property but we had unknowingly been double booked and it took hours off our day to finally get a real person on the phone from Booking.com and with the help of the manager at the Regina hotel we were able to solve the issue.

Could not rate the location highly enough it's a great place. Coffee at breakfast is very good. Air con in room is very good and a must in the heat it's June 2026. The hottest France has ever been. Kettle in the room is good
Wi-fi is spotty and drops out a lot. No hotel bar or fridge in the room exposed electrics looked odd.

The location
The room was small, everything was cheap , the bed ,the furniture, only one pillow which was actually a cushion inside a pillowcase. The bathroom was terrible the bath had been painted and was slippy to stand on, no safety rails, the walls were painted a dreary brown

Ouverture des portes difficile avec le QR Code qu’on doit avoir sur son téléphone portable. J’ai failli ne pas pouvoir rentrer car mon téléphone n’avait plus de batterie le soir!
Peu de gel douche fourni quand on doit prendre deux douches (avec la chaleur et longue marche pour les visites).

I booked hotel because it had an elevator and I am elderly. But the elevator only went to the 4th floor, and I had to climb a flight of stairs to my room. I would not book again unless guaranteed room was on floor where elevator stops. Also, when you use toilet, you are up against the wall - a little more space would be better.
This was a nice cosy hotel right in the centre of town. Our room was quite small but was all we needed. The location was excellent and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
QR code did not work on my phone. Luckily I arrived just before staff member left the property otherwise I would not have got in. She give me alternative white plastic card to use. Very help young lady.
Had I arrived 10 minutes later I would have not gained entry. That was a close call.
Great location right near the main square. Staff were very helpful. Perfect for a few nights in Avignon.
