Hotel Il Gelso Bianco

Io e la mia famiglia abbiamo soggiornato lì una notte. Posizione dell'hotel ottima, vicino all'aeroporto, autostrada, Ikea, centro commerciale, a 20 minuti dal centro. La pecca è lo stato in cui si trova. Molto decadente e soprattutto sporco. Sporco il bagno, sporca la moquette dei corridoi, sporco l'ascensore. Colazione essenziale ma tutto sommato accettabile. Il personale graziosissimo. Spero possano provvedere al più presto perché le formiche in bagno non sono state una bella vista!

Eenvoudig, wat verouderd hotel. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Lekker zwembad erbij. Ontbijt is prima.

Bella piscina peccato non sia curata meglio, però rispetto alla qualità/prezzo non è malvagio.

Pour une nuit ça va mais rien de plus !

Fine for one night before an early flight. Hotel is old and nothing within walking distance. We ate at a mall nearby. Overall fine for what we needed.

It's a lovely facility, quite large. wrong time of year for swimming but the pool area looked nice. the internet was spotty and not secure so couldn't use it for a couple of things. it's right off the freeway and there's nothing around it to walk to. if you have a car then nothing is too far away. it's very close to the airport.

Was treated with curtesy by everyone. Restaurant in hotel is full service and they serve good food at a reasonable price.

They have updated the TV from the tube tv to a 26 inch flat screen. Overall the hotel is exactly what you would expect for the price.

Check in forløb uden problemer. Fik et værelse mod poolen, og dermed også mod indflyvningsruten til lufthavnen, hvilket giver lidt støj.
Restauranten på hotellet har et meget begrænset menukort.

Honnêtement hôtel à choisir que lorsque vous êtes en transit et pour pas plus d'une nuit.
L'hôtel est glauque, le style déco à l'ancienne...
Sans compter les avions qui passent fréquemment au dessus de l'hôtel.

Reception så där. Ägaren ( troligen) skällde ut servitör vid frukosten, ovanligt...

Da wir mit unserem 6 Monate alten Baby unterwegs waren und erst abends in Catania landeten, beschlossen wir bereits im Vorfeld, in der Nähe des Flughafens eine Übernachtung einzuplanen.
Der Check-in gegen 22 Uhr verlief reibungslos, jedoch fanden wir im Zimmer statt des gewünschten Babybetts ein drittes Bett vor, das zudem eine sehr alte (?) und schlechte Federkernmatraze aufwies. Die Matratze des Doppelbettes war in Ordnung. Zudem lag das Zimmer am Ende des Ganges und das Wlan reichte nicht bis dorthin.
Nach Rückfrage an der Rezeption wurde uns sofort ein anderes Zimmer zugewiesen und dort auch umgehend ein Babybett aufgebaut. Für das nun verfügbare Wlan-Netz hätte man jedoch wohl noch ein Passwort gebraucht, doch wir waren zu müde, um ein weiteres Mal an die Rezeption zu gehen.
Das italienische Frühstück am nächsten Morgen war ok; statt die 08/15-Kaffeemaschine am Buffet zu nutzen, kann man auch direkt an der Bar einen "richtigen", frischen Kaffee kostenfrei bestellen.
Neben dem Speisesaal liegt der Pool-Bereich, den wir zwar nicht nutzten, der aber durchaus einladend aussah.
Für einen Stopover würde ich das Hotel jederzeit weiterempfehlen.
