Pros:

We stayed in one of the sea/Etna view suites for 4 nights. The view is the best you can get in Taormina - you can go higher, but it's a similar view so it was a shame to leave the room sometimes! The staff were all lovely and really helpful. Anything we needed i.e. an iron, beach towels etc. they were happy to provide. They also explained where everything was when we got there. The breakfast was ok - the view is of course great, as mentioned above, but the food was very basic. Still, there is a selection of cereals, bread, fruit, pastries etc. and egg, bacon etc. It just seemed a little basic for the amount we paid for our stay, and breakfast was an extra cost. Our suite was on the floor below breakfast and the bar, but we didn't have any noise problems (sound proofing must be good). That said, we did struggle with noise from the street particularly in the early mornings (really loud bottle recycling at 4am for example) so definitely bring earplugs. Location wise, this hotel is probably in the best location in Taormina. It's just before the main street, but not in the thick of it so easy to get in and out, call taxis etc. It really was the perfect location.

Beautiful accommodations, best location, all of the services were wonderful. The staff at front desk was so nice and she recommended the best places for dinner. Trust them! The rooftop drinks and sunset were great. Amazing first time in Sicily and we will definitely come back on our next trip to stay here again!

Pros:

The property is not in good repair and not as depicted in the photos. There is peeling peeling plaster, broken doors and ancient furniture. No pool or beach access. Once we arrived for our 3 day stay, we asked to cancel the next two nights and relocate to another property. Hotel said sorry, you are responsible for paying for the entire 3 night stay.

This property was great! The staff were super friendly and everything you needed they would provide. The room was very nice and clean. The location is what is probably the best feature of the hotel due to it being within walking distance of the main road of Corso Umberto where a lot of restaurants and shops are located. We are definitely going to be coming back to Taormina and staying at the hotel again!

A great property to stay at while staying in Taormina! Close to local sights, but in a quiet area. Beautiful views of the garden and sea as well! The room we reserved was spacious and well kept, and the staff was great.
