Pros:

Tres bon hotel

Cons:

Double paiement suite à une erreur manifeste de booking.com. L'hotelier m'avait garanti s'occuper de la regularisation. Booking.com maintes fois sollicités aussi. Resultat: ça s est renvoyé la balle. L'hotelier comme booking ne prenant pas sa responsabilité, au détriment du client, tout en reconnaissant l'erreur. Ça s'appelle du vol. (Et je suis Genius 3 : on se demande bien à quoi ça sert)

Excellent petit hôtel cosy au centre de Lille
Pros:

Accueil, confort, sens des détails (livret d'accueil, bureau, TV Canal +...), salle repos restauration à disposition

rien, sauf la prestation d'intermédiaire de booking.com qui pour une fois n'a pas été à la hauteur

Good potential poor customer focus and service

Location and character

Cons:

Poor customer service. Uninterested inattentive staff who are not well led. On phones when there are dirty plates on the table. Housekeeper turfed us out of the lift to move bedding between floors.

Lovely little budget hotel on the fringe of the Old Town
Pros:

Although the room was small it felt cozy rather than small or cramped, perfect for one person and had everything you'd need with the exception of a mini-fridge for storing cold drinks in hot weather - which wasn't an issue and it would only be a minor issue if I'd been there during really hot weather. The bed was really comfortable. Everything was super-clean. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful, even with my confusing colloquial terminology, my complete lack of French and their slightly clunky, English (really no need to be apologetic in your own country). It was also really quiet at night despite being situated opposite Flanders Station, so you'd expect a bit of noise. Also, breakfast was included in my room charge, which surprised me as it was really cheap...

Cons:

Absolutely nothing about this place that I didn't like. Already looking at returning later this year.
