Location was perfect across the street from an amazing beach state park and a short drive from anything Destin-related including other beaches with different vibes. Clean rooms, friendly staff,
The location was perfect with the beach across the street and accessible via walking or car. Walmart next door for last minute items needed. All restaurants and entertainment within a reasonable distance. The staff was very friendly and the Continental breakfast was delish! I wasn’t initially interested in going next door to Fudruckers but was pleasantly surprised at how cool it was. We walked there and it took 1 minute. Fun place. Next time we come out to Destin, we will stay at Fairfield again.
Good area for restaurants and shopping. Drove daily across the street and into the property for Henderson State Beach $6 per day. Went to Miramar free public beach also. Room on first floor across from elevator a bit noisy, especially with delayed waiting as only one elevator working, which seems to be a long term problem. Good AAA rate.
Honestly the primary reason we booked this hotel on a one night travel layover was the indoor pool, but we were told the in door pool was closed at 10pm until 10am and checkout is 11am. So what even is the point if an indoor pool that is closed for half the day and most of the hours guests have access to the hotel on a one night stay? And we asked the hotel staff if it was possible to use the pool regardless of the restrictive hours policy and they refused.
Walking distance to the beach and lots of restaurants/activities. Friendly staff. Price was nit too bad. Clean lobby and rooms. Indoor pool was perfect temperature for evening swim. Only down side was they roped off over half the parking lot to PAINT it and made parking difficult for over 2 days.

Great stay overall! The hotel is right across the street from Henderson Beach Park, making beach access very easy. Breakfast was good and the staff were all very friendly. There are both indoor and outdoor pools, which was a nice bonus. Walmart and several restaurants are within walking distance, and Silver Sands Outlet is only about 10 minutes away.
Overall, a great place to stay for families, couples, or groups. We would definitely stay again.

The Fairfield is impeccably clean, the staff is very nice, especially the woman who prepares the breakfast buffet, she is amazing!!! Very pleasant and works incredibly hard to please hotel guests.
I would give her 5 stars alone!!!!!
