Wyndham Virginia Beach Oceanfront

The location was nice and had a great ocean front view. The hotel was kind of run down looking. Staff was kind and friendly. But it felt more like a motel, minimal customer service. The room was fair. The shower dispenser for body wash, shampoo and conditioner was off the wall and empty. There was one mini bar of soap by the sink, One box of tissues and one roll of toilet paper, no ice bucket.

Beautiful view of the beach and clean room. Perfect for my 2 night business event. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

Where to start, location is the only thing this hotel has going for it. It’s beyond being outdated, it’s run down the water pressure was non existent and said because we were on the 15th floor, why have that many floors if you can’t provide water pressure or hot water to them? The elevators didn’t work people got stuck in them. It’s almost like someone decided let’s open the door and forgot to make sure the hotel was capable of providing a clean and well staffed stay. ‘The cleaners” I think as no one had a uniform on, sat in chairs by the elevators on phones instead of cleaning. They may want to do some hiring, the hallways have windows finger prints for days, ledges so dusty people running fingers across to see how long it stays there. There was no body wash in shower pump, the water pressure couldn’t even rinse shampoo from hair or make it half way across the shower. By far this is my worst experience at any hotel. Crazy part I paid more than a small hotel that was cleaner with staff that gave a 💩 about their guests. Wyndham Brand would be horrified to have their name on this place. They may want to close down gut the place, hire people who care and start over. I do not recommend this hotel and we were one of many here for a cheer competition. It’s just disgusting!

Checked in for a cheer weekend. Upon entering the room, I noticed there were no trash bags in the can. There was unfinished drywall on the bathroom ceiling. The beds were clean and mattresses looked new which was a plus!

Now onto the worst part of it all. My husband bent down to pick something up that my daughter dropped under the bathroom sink……only to find 2 SYRINGES WITH NEEDLES EXPOSED hidden in the lip under the sink. Immediately brought my concern to the front desk to be told “what do you want me to do about it, I can say I’m sorry” but unfortunately that wasn’t good enough. She placed a call to the staff to get them out of the room while we were gone. Came back 8 hours later, they are still there. I physically took them to the front desk manager and she said she was told by the staff that they were removed from the room. The manager was attentive and kind, but having a toddler running around and into everything surely had me upset especially if she had grabbed them.

I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the suite I booked for my family.
I booked a one bedroom suite. Upon walking into the room I couldn’t help but notice how nasty the pull out sofa was. It’s as if it’s never been cleaned in all of its years being here.
There was no bedding for the pull out.
No trash bag in any over the bins.
I’m just overall not satisfied with this space.
I’ve stayed in Wyndham properties and none of them were ever as run down as this one.

Todd was rude hung up the phone on me and threatened to call the police for me talking to someone inside my room because he said he could hear us talking In the room after we got to the room not less than 10 min of being in the room. This hotel is horrible and only one elevator works and the rooms are not clean. The front desk was rude and cared less about the customer. I will never book here again. Word to the wise avoid this hotel. They have three stars for a reason. The front desk is rude and racist

We had a great conference! We had a wonderful oceanfront view and the conference rooms were comfortable and accommodating!

Hotel only has one hot and water tank according to engineering, temperature is less than tepid. Literally the supposed hot shower woke me up.

We were on the 17th floor. It took 5+ minutes to get hot water in the shower. When it came it was simply lukewarm and little pressure.
The staff claimed it was because we were so high up, but we’ve stayed in similar floors elsewhere and this has never been a problem.

We waited 20 minutes in their restaurant before leaving as we were ignored by waitress.

I felt like I was wasting my money due to improper treatment but I was there on business I had to do what I had to do I even asked for a new room and they never did

Staff was very friendly. The room was a good size with amazing beach front views from the balcony. The bed was very comfy and the bathroom was really nice with good water pressure in the shower. The only reason we didn’t give it 5 out of 5 is because the sofa bed was horrible. We will stay again but will try to get a different room with multiple beds instead of a sofa bed for the kid.

Nice clean hotel, clean rooms, very nice bathroom, quiet area good restaurant! I am certain that the view from our room was outstanding since we were on the 3rd floor facing the ocean.

Great hotel and location for the price. Awesome bar and food.
I would stay here again. We had used the conference rooms and they were well maintained. The wait staff for our dinner was good and buffet menu was excellent

I had a horrible stay. Nothing was pleasing about our suite. Sheet rock on pull out couch. Shower curtain on backwards. No plunger for the bathroom. No housekeeping everyday.

This place is near the (North) park and far from the (South) business areas as the "fun" places. When you arrive there, go to either 1st or 2nd "drive thru" tunnel while passing the reserved garage parking.
The service is good and nice.
Room is okay except a table/stool for the suitcase missing.
Friday and Saturday nights for the musical/band restaurant and/or meetings? Full parking spaces, you have to park at the front "yard" when you come "home" hotel.

Ocean was visible. We came while it was raining so no cute sunrises. Staff moved my room due to a loud party room. 2nd room was way better but the kid screaming every 30 minutes in the hall made it hard to sleep. Staff was great! Clean rooms!
