Hampton Terrace Inn

We had a great stay here over a long weekend. Everything at the property and in our cottage was exactly as described on the web site and in communications. The communications before and during our stay were spot-on. Everything worked as expected and we had no issues at all. We hope to return again in the future!

We spent a weekend in Lenox and stayed at the Hampton Terrace Inn. This was not our first time, and the experience still was excellent. We stayed in the main house and enjoyed the ease of walking downstairs to the large sitting room with fireplace and a piano. The room and bed were comfortable and clean. The breakfast was excellent. The inn is within walking distance to the downtown area with its many excellent restaurants and shops, our favorites being Alba and Cello for dinner, and Haven for lunch. In the summertime, its close to Tanglewood music center. Stan is an excellent host and we have no reservations about returning again.

Hampton Terrace Inn is a beautiful spot minutes away from the heart of Lenox and lovingly managed by the Rosens. Each room is so well decorated and I really appreciated the guide to inn and Lenox as put together by the owners! It was such a fantastic resource for the perfect weekend getaway with friends to chat and catch up. I’m really looking forward to coming back in warmer weather to explore the nearby Berkshire hiking trails!

My husband and I celebrated our 40th Wedding Anniversary at the Hampton Terrace Inn. Loved the fireplace and hot tub. Beautifully decorated. The owners Stan and his wife, really go out of their way to make sure your stay is up to your expectations.. Breakfast was wonderful and you do not leave hungry in the morning. Nice selection at breakfast and the grits are amazing. It is wonderful how added touches are provided in the main house and carriage house, adding to a wonderful relaxing ambiance. We definitely recommend staying at the Hampton Terrace Inn. We hope to see them soon. And Happy Holidays to them.

Stan is a great host, the room was charming and spotless. Right in the heart of Lenox this is a must stay for anyone. common areas are beautifully decorated and well stocked with all your needs.

Location and charm was amazing

Husband and I as well as our friends spent weekend in Lenox at the Hampton Terrace. The inn is an easy walk to Lenox restaurants and shops. Stan our host was friendly and attentive. He served an amazing breakfast each morning. Our room in main house was comfortable. The house itself was full of character and very cozy. The living room was comfortable and a nice place to sit as well as play a game after a dinner out. The little lounge/bar area was cozy and the cordials were a nice touch. Overall a nice experience at the Hampton Terrace.

Lovely buildings and great location

Excellent B&B. Located within walking distance of the shops and restaurants. Stan is a great host. Lenox is a nice town to visit.

We loved our stay at Hampton Terrace! It is a wonderful historic building, set in the heart of a magical small town. We loved our room - v comfy bed, big bathroom, fabulous water pressure in shower! - as well as delicious breakfasts and great conversations with Stan. We did the ‘Gilded Age’ driving tour which was great, and then drove back to Boston via the beautiful Mohawk Scenic Trail, route 2 - highly recommended. Thanks Stan!

We stayed on the Main House mini-suite which includes 2 small bedrooms with shared bath. Host provided clear instructions to meet our every need. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! We love the downstairs decor and antiques. Great location and gracious host.

We had another wonderful stay at the Hampton Terrace Inn. As always, the proprietor Stan was ever present at breakfast and available for questions during the day. Our "cottage" had room to
spread out. Regret we never had time to relax at the inviting pool!

The Inn enjoys a great location, very convenient to Tanglewood as well as all the restaurants and shops in Lenox. We stayed in a carriage house room, which was comfortable enough and included a jacuzzi tub. We didn’t go into the main house until breakfast and regretted not checking it out the evening before as that is where all the really nice public spaces are located. Breakfast was served buffet style rather than cooked to order. The food was fine, but was nothing special. Overall, you pay for the location rather than the amenities on offer.

The rooms in this historic home in Lenox are clean and very comfortable. The breakfasts are awesome and the hosts are very welcoming, attentive and helpful. The location is ideal, just a short walk to all the stores a restaurants in Lenox. I highly recommend this B&B for a stay in the Berkshires

We have stayed at this Inn each summer for more than 10 years. It is a perfect traditional New England inn located in one of the most beautiful towns in Massachusets. Cannot imagine staying anywhere else in the Berkshires.

We had a great stay with Stan at the Hampton Terrace Inn. There was a hot buffet breakfast every day. He was able to accommodate vegan diet but there could me more choices in the future. The rooms and inn itself were clean, full of character and welcoming. Short walk to Lenox and close to Tanglewood and everything the Berkshires have to offer. Highly recommended.
