Ok for one night yet overpriced for the standard it offers

Die Lage des Hotels ist klasse.
Man ist schnell bei den Sehenswürdigkeiten und hat am Abend viele Möglichkeiten essen zu gehen, im Schatten sitzend ein kühles Getränk zu genießen und einfach den Flair der schönen Stadt zu erleben.
Wir konnten vor dem Hotel halten um die Koffer aus bzw. einzuladen.
Zum Parkhaus war es nicht weit, wir hatten ein günstiges Angebot mit" Parkklick" im sicheren Parkhaus des Novotels zu parken.

Cons:

Das Frühstück war eine Katastrophe.
Ich weiß wirklich nicht wo die positiven Bewertungen herkommen!
Auch die Bilder aus dem Frühstücksraum und dem Frühstück entsprechen absolut nicht der Realität.
Der Kaffee schmeckt scheußlich, wenn man Glück hatte gab es mal Croissants, das Baguette war trocken, der Osaft sauer.
Das Geschirr war Mangelware,wenn man später zum Frühstück kam,war es Glücksache Teller, Löffel etc. Zu bekommen.
Es gab auch keine kleinen Schälchen für Marmelade- diese musste man auf seinen Teller füllen, und da es keine sauberen Teller zum Wechseln gab,kann man sich die Schmiererei gut vorstellen.
Auch der Aufschnitt war jeden Tag gleich.
Wir waren 6Tage dort,am letzten Morgen lagen frische Äpfel im Obstkorb- der ansonsten vor sich hingammelte.
Alles in allem für den Preis und in einem 4 Sterne Hotel kann man etwas Besseres erwarten!!!
Kleiner Tipp:
Ohne Frühstück buchen und gegenüber in einer kleinen Bäckerei frühstücken!

Der Zimmerservice war auch miserabel:
Die benutzten und zum Wechseln auf den Boden
gelegten Handtücher wurden immer wieder aufgehangen.

Excellent hôtel au cœur d’Avignon
Pros:

Magnifique hôtel pour profiter du festival d’Avignon.
Hôtel central et tout ce fait à pieds. Chambre lumineuse, bien conçue et très agréable. Un grand merci à Jérémy qui nous donne la même chambre tous les ans ! On se sent vraiment accueillis !

Pros:

We were very pleased with our stay at this hotel. The lobby is well-appointed, offering plenty of space for dining, meetings, and work. However, what truly makes this hotel special is the afternoon receptionist and concierge, Mr. Jeremy. He is such a kind, obliging, and helpful person that he makes this place stand out positively on the map of southern France.

A good place to stay for a short visit and good transport links
Pros:

The room was a good size with a comfortable bed, and the concierge were friendly throughout our stay. The location was excellent, right next to the train station and close to the heart of Avignon.

Cons:

The only downside was an unpleasant smell from the drains in the room when we arrived. Running the taps and shower and keeping the window open helped resolve the issue, so we didn’t need to raise it with the staff, but it wasn’t the best first impression.
