We were very excited for this trip (my husband, my 11 and 15 year old and myself). The location of the hotel itself was a good location in terms of walking the village however do NOT stay in room 201.
Room 201 (which isn’t one of their renovated rooms - we learned afterwards the higher floors were renovated but the lower ones were not so the base boards were falling off in the kitchen and the ceiling had a poorly fixed hole repaired in it) is located directly above the driveway where all the cars and trucks enter the village to make deliveries.
Because the village is a pedestrian only village the restaurants and shop get truck deliveries right in this driveway below our room starting at 2 am every night. So every night we heard constant traffic, beeping from trucks backing up and deliveries being made from 2 am-630 am. The walls are also very thin and we heard the next door room’s alarm going off at 6 am.
Overall the front desk staff wasn’t very pleasant either. We felt a real anti-American sentiment throughout. One morning we waited 15 min at the hotel restaurant to be acknowledged to sit down and then we ended up leaving bc they were so unfriendly. Would not recommend this hotel.
We stayed this weekend at the hotel, and left with mixed feelings. On the plus side, the location is ideal and the staff courteous and professional. On the minus side, the hotel is in dire need of a major overhaul. We understand it is ongoing, but it should have happened several years ago. Not only that, but they were several annoying things: only one elevator working, the gents restrooms at the ground floor were in a poor state, etc.

Breakfast was not included, old design and appliances, rooms were a bit cold.
Everything! From the moment we arrived Louis at guest services was efficent and so attentive and helpful. He realized it was a special get a way for us. 30th anniversary. He did all he could do accomodate us. Updraded room beautiful view overlooking the pool and hot tub.
Nothing we did not like.

The staff was exceptional always attentive and eager to help. When we asked for extra towels for our family of five, they were delivered within minutes. The hotel is very clean. It is ideally located in the very center of town, making everything easily accessible. The on-site restaurant, Le Lion, was outstanding. Every dish we tried, from appetizers to main courses and desserts, was absolutely delicious.
We stayed in the one-room suite with two queen beds. The beds were very comfortable; however, the fifth member of our family slept on the pull-out sofa, which was unfortunately not comfortable.

En 2 jours, nous n’avons jamais eu 2 rouleaux de papier de toilette… Aucun remplacement. Nous en avons manqué le dernier matin!
Et comme seul dédommagement, des excuses par dessus des excuses
Pour le prix déboursé, je ne recommanderais pas cet endroit
