The hotel was like a building site no reception are and freezing cold with lots of machinery and tools and cement mixers in reception area , no prior knowledge of any works being carried out before arriving, on arrival we were directed to bar door as no entry at main door payment in full on arrival in bar area where receptionist was sitting with her laptop and only realised afterwards there was works being carried out when we were walking through the reception area to go to our room .

Lovely hotel in a great location but our room in need of an upgrade.
Pros:

The location was great, staff were amazing and rooms tidied daily.

Cons:

There was work going on at the time we were there that we had to walk through to get to the bedrooms. Rooms were clean but a little dated and in need of an upgrade.

Would not recommend this hotel . Very outdated for 4 star hotel some parts of hotel need to be upgraded ect pool , lobby & rooms . First of all there is construction going on in the hotel that you have to walk through to get to your room ( we weren’t informed about this prior to our stay ) The changing room at leisure centre were dirty & outdated , there was no water in the jacuzzi.

There no sound proofing between rooms if you are in a connected room we were kept awake all night by our neighbours had to ring reception twice during the night to complain , this went on from 2am-5am . Informed staff when checking out about this nothing was done .

Really needs upgrading & improvements to get customers to return has great potential if ran properly

Pros:

I found it refreshing that the hotel has everything you need and it is included in price. Parking, breakfast, use of the pool, spa and other facilities. My favorite part is check out at 12 what is also refreshing. Beds were really comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location is great as it is a short 15 min walk to the city center. We would come back here if we ever find ourselves in Westport again.

Sewage smell in bath room. Cold water tap in bathroom did not work so missed out on bath!

Pros:

Very friendly and welcoming staff. My room was spacious and my bed was extremely comfortable.

No complaints other than there was construction work going on and the workers did their best not to disturb guests.
