Staff
Current building site with limited disabled parking : access. Work vans in disabled bays. Walking through a building site with nails, debris and paint sheets all over the floor expecting a 81 year old lady with walking aid to walk long distance to bedroom.
Bedrooms location food and bar area.
Nothing
Location is really good and hotel is usually very pleasant with good facilities.
There was a good choice for breakfast, but items that would comprise a full Irish breakfast were of variable quality e.g. sausages were small and had a very chewy skin and no fried eggs available. There was ongoing building renovations foyer area and the lift was not working. I received duplicate email booking confirmations (5 times) and there was no mention of building work on any of the emails.
The breakfast was lovely
The fact that we had to ask 3 times yesterday for our room to br cleanex
The breakfast was nice.
I didn't like the rudness of alot of the staff. The only nice staff seem to be the cleaners and the weekend students. The prices of our drinks ranged from €13.50 to €15 for the same drinks depending on who served us.The bottles of Corrs Light were bought from a supermarket, not pub bottles.Would have been cheaper for us to buy a box and drink it.Cobwebs hanging over the beds, paint peeling on ceiling in bathroom.Waited over 30-45mins for someone to take our food order, she saw us waiting and didn't bother come near us,so we left and went down town.On check out,we were not ask if we enjoyed our say and did not get receipt. Jacuzzi out of order aswell.Would not stay again Mainly because it's very badly managed. No one seems to know what they are at.
Breakfast great choice, location perfect,
Honestly couldn't fault anything
Our group of six encountered several issues during our stay. Despite the advertisement of nightly music included in the cost, we were initially charged £25 per person on the first night. On the second night, the advertised artist did not perform, and a substitute guitarist, whose folk music was not universally appealing, was provided. We also experienced strict mealtime regulations, with a warning that late arrivals would not be served. The food quality was subpar, with undercooked vegetables, and the beverage selection was limited to wine or beer. Furthermore, one guest room lacked heating, and despite four reports, only a subpar heater was provided. Another guest had to be relocated due to an unacceptable room condition. Finally, the drink prices were notably high.
The staff were lovely 🌹 and kind very friendly staff would go back again soon
Spacious room, lovely breakfast selection and walking distance to town which was very convenient.
Staff could have been friendlier.
We had the most amazing time on our recent trip. The staff were very attentive and the bar food was delicious ( the seafood chowder is a must have) . We will be back later in the year. Aisling your best hostess we could have asked for and an asset to the hotel 😊
We stopped in for lunch with our babies and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. A lovely girl Aisling helped us with the buggies and even supplied baby wipes as I had forgotten my packet. We will definitely be making our lunches here a regular thing.
