Westport Wonderful
Pros:

First time in westport
Pros:

It's a really nice hotel in a good spot between the harbour and the town. Big spacious clean rooms which lacked nothing and the pool and leisure facilities where also good.My only concern is the breakfast restraunt layout were you had to swerve people waiting to enter the restraunt at the same time as swerve people leaving the restraunt but overall a good stay.

Great place!
Pros:

We visited as a party of 10 for my brothers 70th Birthday. The staff are welcoming and so friendly, and nothing is too much trouble for them. There was a Manageress there called Ashley or Ashling (apologies for using the wrong one), she even offered to leave her laptop with us overnight so that we could plug our firestick in to watch something that we couldn't get on TV.
Really enjoyed the whole weekend and would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of visiting beautiful Westport in Magnificent Mayo.

The bar area, with music playing, lots of seating.

Cons:

The shower was a shower in bath with a screen, that did not reach the bath and the whole bathroom flooded. My chicken pasta dish, had sliced packet chicken in it, not actual pieces of chicken.

Enjoyable Family Stay in Westport
Pros:

We found the hotel great value for money. The staff were so pleasant and accommodating.

There was some work going on to improve / update the hotel which was discreet when we were there but it will be lovely when it’s completed.

Our room was really clean. The location was really good.

The atmosphere was really relaxed because the staff were genuinely helpful and pleasant.

Pros:

Good hotel. Good location. Friendly staff. Very helpful staff. Good leisure facilities, pity jacuzzi wasn't operating. Good range of food morning and evening. Breakfast could be a bit manic, shortage of glasses, and some times a wait for food to be replenished. Plenty of food choices. Entertainment nightly. Well worth a visit.

Bar food was enjoyable and beds were reasonably comfortable.

Cons:

Reception staff missing on arrival and no apology for delay when they did show. Have stayed perhaps 10 times and yet introduced to the hotel as if I was a new guest. It should have been a welcome back. Bar was taken over by bus tour each evening we were there including sitting in around us, actually atbour table, while we were dining without so much as an excuse me. Appalling sense of entitlement by many guests and no consideration for other guests. Room had an interconnection as might as well have been in the same room with noise. Shower had a leak which flooded bathroom at each shower requiring use of all towels to clean it up. Also no prior warning that hotel was undergoing renovations so previous lobby seating area was out of use unless sitting in a ski suit due to the low temperature.

Loved the bed, so comfortable

An ideal base when visiting Westport

Nice quiet location

The works weren't ideal. Honestly didn't bother me too much except for having to walk through the cold hallway. I know it will be fabulous once complete!

nice hotel friendly staff very helpful honest food wasnt good 2 mornings at 9am breakfast was burnt so 3 rd morning we didnt bother bar food was really nice id def stay again hotel is been renovated so will be nice
