This was a lovely welcoming hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable and well equipped. I would recommend it to anyone and will definitely plan a repeat visit

Wonderful location. The hotel is having a wonderful facelift that is modern and spacious but thankfully it keeps its calm, warm, and welcoming feeling that a lot of modern hotels lack. So relaxing, especially beside the fire in the lobby looking out onto a wet grey day with a book and a cocktail! I was a solo traveller for 3 days and I felt like I was home from home. Always at ease. The staff were just so friendly and sweet. They really do work so hard, from accommadation to food to bar service, just so professional and friendly. Mary at reception was wonderful and the lady from accommadation left me extra water each day having noticed I am on treatment.
My room was spotless, large, and nicely decorated. I stayed 3 nights and I slept solid each one. The duvet,mattress and pillow were so comfy. The bathroom again was spotless and had a bath and shower facility. The bath was a welcome treat after climbing Croagh Patrick! I climbed that day, returned to my room, ran a hot bubble bath, soaked my aching kegs, then strolled downstairs for a well earned delicious burger and another cocktail!!!
In my room I heard the usual hotel noises of fellow residents going in and out of their room but again, unlike most hotels I stayed in before, there was no noise of elevators or toilets being flushed or, other common hotel noises 😀
I unfortunately didn't get to use the spa or pool area this time but I am planning on returning with my daughter soon and we will use it then.
The Wesport Woods hotel is really good value for money. The staff just make it a really special place.

They where Notting I didn’t like
Great friendly atmosphere. The hotel reception and breakfast/dining room have just been refurbished to a high standard but I hope they add a few more chairs to the breakfast room as they kept moving chairs around as never enough. Evening entertainment was great and staff very friendly. Good big bedrooms and hopefully the bathrooms will be next for remodelling. Oh! Nearly forgot to mention the great sized pool and open plan gym with enough equipment to cover all my needs. Would definitely book again.
