Pros:

The experience is great in itself nice room. And the staff were so unbelievably friendly and welcoming. Charlie was so lovely and went out of his way to speak to us. Very rare to find staff like that these days. All the staff were very smiley too. Love the fact it’s not one of those extremely strict hotels you can just enjoy yourself.

Beautiful architecture, beautiful views.
Pros:

I love this building's history and the architecture is beautiful. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and even had some interesting facts about the building that we enjoyed learning.

Cons:

I was a bit disappointed the cabaret ballroom was closed but it was for a very good reason. They're removing the asbestos. Entertainment had moved to the Empress Suite which we enjoyed.

A wonderful, iconic old building, "faded glory" (a bit like myself) but still so beautiful.
Pros:

We always stay here when visiting Scarborough. A wonderful, iconic old building, "faded glory" (a bit like myself) but still so beautiful. The public areas are really nice. Room with a wonderful view. Perfect location! Extremely good value for the price. Back soon!
