Wonderful stay, great location!
Pros:

We stayed at the Victoria & Alfred Hotel for 4 nights while in Cape Town. Brilliant location on the waterfront. From the moment we arrived the staff were super helpful to us and made sure our stay was wonderful. Our rooms were facing Table Mountain and were huge! Special shoutout to Byron who showed us around Cape Town and recommended so many cool restaurants and things to see! Highly recommend staying here for the location, staff and views of Table Mountain.

Perfect Waterfront location, super food, spacious rooms and fantastic friendly staff.
Pros:

We have have been well looked after every time we have stayed here. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and always ready to advise. Breakfasts are excellent, rooms are spacious and well equipped, and the location is second to none! Perfect for the Waterfront with a lively atmosphere through the day, but always quiet at night.

Cons:

We have no complaints, except I wish there were more rooms, as it becomes booked out very quickly.

Great location, friendly staff, great stay
Pros:

Excellent hotel in great location in the V&A waterfront. Good food and great views of Table Mountain. Stayed in a loft room so no views but the room was big, clean and comfy. Staff were very welcoming and also helpful.

Great location
Pros:

This was the first stop on a much longer holiday for me. The hotel is in a great location, with shopping and eateries all round.

Our room was big, very clean and comfortable with everything you would expect to have in the room. Our room overlooked the shopping side and was a bit noisy sometimes, but we were out a lot so this wasn't something we would have requested a room change for.

We had breakfast every morning at the dockside with fantastic views of Table Mountain. We also had dinner there once as enjoyed the food.

Also a good location for tour pickups. We walked to get the ferry for Robben Island.
