Pros:

The hotel’s strongest point is its excellent location. It is perfectly positioned at the V&A Waterfront, with restaurants, shops, attractions, and the main waterfront areas all within very easy walking distance. The location is extremely convenient and made our stay much easier.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the service did not match the standard expected from a hotel of this level. At breakfast, the staff were extremely slow and at times appeared to ignore our table while serving guests who had arrived after us. This happened more than once and gave us a very uncomfortable impression that some guests were receiving more attention than others.
When I politely asked the breakfast supervisor about the delay, her response was loud and unprofessional instead of helpful or apologetic.
We had a similar experience at reception. When I requested only an additional 30 minutes for late check-out, the response was unnecessarily harsh, stating that if we did not leave by 12:00, we would be charged for a full extra day.
Overall, the location is excellent, but the attitude, communication, and professionalism of some staff members need serious improvement. Every guest should feel equally respected and welcomed, regardless of nationality or background.

Pleasant.
Pros:

The property is very convenient if you want to be close to the restaurants and shops at the waterfront in CapeTown and for getting to some of the central sights.

Cons:

It’s very noisy as night because of the waterfront being right there and with people walking past at all hours of the day and till late at night. If you have carpeted bedrooms provide slippers and when guests ask for slippers two nights in a row with the promise of them being delivered immediately - do so!!! Stayed 5 nights and still waiting for the slippers and the porter who never came to collect my suitcases.
