La piscina, la comida, el personal… Todo increíble

We came to this hotel on 15/06 late that night and when we booked it said there is 24/7 snack bar and drink. The drink is available but the only thing in the “snack bar” is cheese and ham sandwiches without butter in a little fridge. We were also not told about where you could smoke so when we had a cigarette on the balcony, the security had seen this and then send a letter though the door attempting to fine us €100 when we hadn’t been told. The only two places that you can smoke are in right out the front of the hotel or out the back the other side of the hotel that at night I wouldn’t want to smoke there as it is pitch black. The food is okay but three day out of ten days we had to eat out as nothing appealed to us. The location is very good near most things you would need and there is a bus station within a two minutes walk that gets you to most places. The tv doesn’t have anything on really just the hotel channel. On the second to last day we received another letter moaning about us using sun lotion in the room. It was a spray suncream which we used in the shower only so to me it just seemed as though they didn’t want to clean. We paid extra for deluxe double bedroom that ended up being to two singles pushed together. The cleaner mostly would only make the bed and walk out, no clean bedding and would moan about the bag of rubbish we left but they provided no bin in the room. We also found small bits of glass on the floor that got stuck in my foot. There was only one glass cup in the room and it wasn’t broken which makes me feel like they mop all the rooms with the same mop and water on the floors or even that they smashed the glass and hadn’t cleaned up properly. The bar staff were very nice and kind. I would only stay here again if the price was right. I wouldn’t pay more than £100 pp/pn anything over that is wrong. The whole hotel needs some love and redecorating with water marks on walls and roof, broke tiles around the pool that is very dangerous. The cleaners woke us up most mornings early to see if we wanted our room cleaned and took our do not disturb sign so we didn’t have a choice.
The best thing which I cannot fault at all was the entertainment team. They have been the best part of the holiday as they get to know you by name and are very encouraging to join in on activity. They put on amazing shows in the evening and really are very nice and welcoming. The entertainment team are not here on Mondays that leaves you with a dj during the day which was good. However the evening show that was there on Mondays were quite bad as she said she was a singer but just danced most of the time as it seemed she didn’t know the lyrics. We cannot thank the entertainment team enough as I feel they really made our holiday great considering

We stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago and were so impressed with the staff and hotel overall that we went back again last week.
We had 3mailed and requested a high room , which we were given, room 749 which had a side view on the top floor.
The room was cleaned every day and the cleaner was very friendly.
In the bathroom is shampoo and conditioner, and there’s a soap dispenser by the sink. It has a shaving mirror and hair dryer. The tv has a few English channels. The road outside is quite busy but we hardly heard a thing as we were high up.
Pool towels are free but if you want to change them for fresh ones during your stay it’s €1 a time. The safety deposit box is €2 per day.
There’s plenty of choice of food in the restaurant and it was always being monitored and refreshed/replaced when each item got low.
We went for a walk each morning and had a couple of hours sunbathing in the afternoon. We found loungers on the left hand side sunbathing area by the kiddies hut.
The hotel was pretty much full and towards the end of our stay it did get annoying when we’d got our seats early for the evening entertainment only for some ignorant ladies to come and stand directly infront of us blocking our view and refusing to move. The evening entertainment is predominantly performed by the hotels entertainment team but they do a great job and narrate everything in multiple languages .
We walked to the yumbo centre a few times as they had a massive free stage and area for tourists to go in and enjoy the acts FREE . I think it was called MMT (music meets tourists) and the bars around weren’t dear (some were €2 for a big beer) and there were plenty of places to eat. It’s about a 25 minute walk from the hotel. We enjoyed a leisurely beer or 3 in the Mardi Gras bar where it’s €2 for a big frozen glass cold beer .
There is a free bus to mogan mall in Puerto Rico. You can get it from the hotel bull, just down the road from our hotel. The pick up times are clearly displayed on several bus stops in the area the shopping centre is huge and after we had been around it we walked to to the beach and harbour area of Puerto Rico and had a few beers in a lovely rooftop bar for €1.50 each and relaxed and watched the world go by before walking back to the mall bus stop (about 30 mins).
We had a late flight home so weren’t being picked up until 6:40pm but when we asked to keep the room on we were told it was not possible (for a second I thought I heard him say it was €20 per extra hour, but then he said it was not possible) but because we arrived late (around 11pm) he said we could use the all inclusive facilities all day and use their shower rooms downstairs before we left.
Overall there were a couple of little things that could have been improved on but that’s not stopped me from giving this honest 5* review.
Yes we would come back again but maybe in March or September when it’s not quite so hot.

La comida es de calidad, son limpios, los empleados atentos y muy trabajadores, los admiré como trabajaban, con una sonrisa,, y muy amables.

El personal muy atento, el equipo de animación, la habitación muy cómoda, buenos colchones, el bufet estupendo mucha variedad, en el bar piscina variedad de comida además tenían una pequeña despensa en donde podías picar algo. Sobretodo para la gente que salían y volvían tarde aunque todo el día había para servirte.

La comida estaba muy rica tanto desayuno como almuerzo y cena

Amazing location food and staff it’s a shame there is not lot of places in the hotel you can smoke and I noticed that people were vaping around the pool could do with a few more chairs for the entertainment in the evening which was amazing

Good hotel in a good location food was average but always something.
Loved the fact sunbeds were monitored
Room was spotless as were communal areas
We found staff friendly and helpful
Great views from our balcony

Great experience please try hotel you will not be disappointed staff are wonderful,food for all dietary options location good for getting around island bus service good, entertainment daily for all ages good value for money
