Estapona palace in my opinion is not the same standard as other luxe collection hotels we have stayed at. Firstly I must say that the staff we encountered are all wonderful and would be a credit to any hotel, however the food is very disappointing, very repetitive and usually cold. The restaurant is chaotic and needs someone to take overall charge of the service. Shortages like no bowls, no items of cutlery, no milk jugs, some tables set with full complement of cutlery others not, I feel these issues could be remedied by someone overseeing the serving staff and directing operations. It would have been nice if the outside bar areas had been illuminated during the evening with maybe some background music so guests could go outside with a drink as an alternative to being inside in the lounge bar and listening to the evening entertainment which with one exception was pretty poor. The grounds of the hotel are well set out with plenty of sun loungers available throughout the day. The location is good with plenty of buses and taxis available to take you to the marina or on to estapona and back through out the day. We enquired about the Aircon in our room as it was hot during the whole of our stay but we were told it is only switched on in may which was unfortunate. I just feel that with a few changes, it could have been a much better experience.
Early booking is a must , the Privilege pass unlocks some excellent features including the private bar and sun terrace. Rooms are clean , excellent breakfast service , front reception was super helpful when coordinating car hire and taxi bookings. During April 2026 the hotel was very peaceful building up to the busy periods , overall locations is well positioned to bus to Gibraltar or explore the local town.
espectacular! La atención , el mensajito en la habitación, chocolates todo …. La comodidad… gracia s
This was our second visit, having previously stayed in October 2025 on a Privilege package. This time we booked a standard superior room on a B&B basis. Our room, 401, was beautiful and much bigger than the Privilege room we had in October! It had a side sea view and overlooked Gibraltar and an apartment complex with mountain backdrop. The bed was large and the ceiling fan, directly above, kept us cool. The standard of housekeeping was, once again, excellent. The whole hotel is beautifully clean and always smells lovely.
Breakfast was excellent- a huge spread, including Cava. Pool area inviting and plenty of sunbeds at this time of year. You collect pool towels from the kiosk, one per person.
We hired a car direct from Reception and always found a parking spot directly opposite, free of charge. We didn't pay for parking anywhere we visited, unlike in England where parking is incredibly expensive. We remain impressed by the smooth roads, flower baskets and numerous litter bins in this region of Spain.
Once again, an excellent stay and would thoroughly recommend staying at the H10 Estepona Palace. It is far west of the resort and a 45-minute walk into the town. Lots of building work in the centre of the resort as they are building a new central plaza and an underground car park.
Great hotel, everything was perfect; friendly personnel, excellent service, nice food, nice animation program for kids!
Perfekt
Glömde rena handdukar sista 2dagarna.
Lovely staff. Nice food.Peaceful
location.Very good kids camp.
Wish the spa opening times were not so rigid. Weather was not ideal,
stayed 2nd week of April. Night time entertaiment hit and miss. All in all a very pleasant restful hotel
We had a spacious sea facing room with large balcony. Very comfortable bed and and large bathroom. Lindt chocolates hand delivered to our door every night was a lovely welcomed touch!
The Hotel was very clean throughout and staff were all hardworking and pleasant. There was lovely outdoor sunbathing areas with more than adequate sun loungers (even at a busy Easter Weekend!) and perfect direct access to the beach and coastal walkway.
Breakfast buffet was hectic. This is not intended as a bad reflection on the hotel however, as it's a case of what time you choose to eat. Obviously the earlier the better to avoid the rush of people who prefer to eat at a later time. The food was a good selection of fresh hot & cold and lots to choose from. The staff are very efficient working hard non-stop.
The staff,particularly at breakfast.
It was tough to find parking space outside.
Wonderful few days spent here over Easter. We upgraded to Privilege last minute for hubby’s Birthday. Our room was spacious and so clean. The cleaners called to top up coffee pods water etc regularly we never ran low. We had a fantastic sized balcony overlooking the sea. I spent my time there rather than by the pool. We were B&B we ate mainly at the Privilege restaurant a lovely selection to choose from and table service for tea/coffee. A lot more choice in the main restaurant but was so busy we opted for the quieter atmosphere. The hotel is quite a step away from main Estapona town and around 15/20 min walk to the Harbour area. We enjoyed the walks, most mornings walking along the sea front very relaxed listening to the sea. We only ate at the Mediterranean chilled lounge. Overlooking the sea we had Tapas (stunning) and cocktails. What a lovely way to spend the evening. We made use of the Privilege lounge frequently enjoying a drink and snacks. We visited the sun terrace once it was a bit small for us we like our space. I couldn’t fault this Hotel the service was friendly we had no issues or problems at all. They treated Hubby on his birthday with chocolate and Cava and a little song from the lady delivering!! I would go back tomorrow I highly recommend you visit.
Access and standards
Parking tight
The property was very clean and well cared for. Overlooking the sea. Very peaceful. We had a privilege room fantastic sized balcony where we spent most of our day! Couldn’t fault the facilities. The breakfast was also really enjoyable. We were B&B so can’t comment on the main restaurant. We had Tapas and Cocktails in the Mediterranean fill out veranda overlooking the sea. Tapas was stunning and we enjoyed the cocktails! So chilled watching the sun go down. Perfecto!
The location a little far from everything but we enjoyed walking along the coast every morning a peaceful walk listening to the sea lap the beach! Gorgeous. The harbour is around 15-20min walk main town a good 45 minutes. We didn’t use taxis but saw many about.
Wow! We had a 3 night stay here and didn't realize this was going to be a true resort experience. We chose the location because the property has distinct architecture and as it's along the boardwalk and beach, we thought we would have some nice places to walk. Those were all true. When booking, we did not realize this resort offers everything from stay only all the way to all inclusive. We had chosen an upgraded sea view room with breakfast and it was worth every penny. We were greeted with welcome drinks in the lobby, free parking in their small lot parallel to the street (paid parking underneath the resort), and we arrived to our room to find a handwritten note along with glass bottles of water and macaron. The room was spotless, bed comfortable, and we had evening turndown with chocolates. Breakfast was the best meal we had here. I can't think of anything it could have had that wasn't there. They even had churros and torrijas (Spanish style "French toast"). They offer daily activities here and we were able to take in flamenco and bingo one evening. Special shout out to bingo for mixing in some language lessons!
Although we didn't book all-inclusive or half-board, we gave the dinner buffet a try one evening. It was okay. Probably a good value comparatively when pricing restaurants nearby, but nearby food was top-notch and compared to breakfast, dinner just isn't quite as good.
It was my third time staying at Estapona Palace.
We love everything about the hotel and the location. The staff are very friendly. I made a couple of requests and they were dealt with promptly and positively
We liked everything
Excellent location.
Nothing.
Pool area
Long internal walks
Parking Brak w cenie, dodatkowo płatny problem z wjazdem i wyjazdem oczywiście z parkingu wina opsługi
Pool area was OK, sea view from room balcony. Bed was clean.
The property was very dilapidated, lots of old filth and stains both in the room and common areas. Mini bar was empty, no complementary water, no restock of coffee packages, cleaning quality was doubtful.
