H 10 is a typical costa resort style hotel. No complaints about room and location.
Buffet style evening meal was fine, with plenty of choice. The chicken and / or fish could be griddle cooked in front of you, and always looked fresh, as were the salads. Breakfast in the "privilege" restaurant was consistently good and the staff excellent.
The "privilege" upgrade was worth it for us , with access to quieter semi private facilities and to a self service bar with a fair selection.
The privilege booking also provided one visit to the spa, which was very dark, and a bit of a flashback to the 1980's (when it was probably built). Paid entry is €25 , which we thought seriousy overpriced, and did not re visit.
Two comments /complaints.
1. Badly stained carpets all along our floor (6) which looked like spilt bleach or poor cleaning of other spillages.
2. "Customer services" for us was not a good experience. On arrival we went to the desk labelled "privilege check in". The staff member sat there, who turned out to be customer services rather than check in told us she was unable to check us in and directed us to the main check in desk, where there was a queue. And wasn't very polite about it. Subsequently another "customer services" person said she could not make a booking for us at the spa, and could not phone down to them. We were advised to email them! Not very good customer service.
Breakfast was nice. Room wasn't very big but cozy and comfortable.
The hotel didn't provide the slippers even after the request, which was little inconvenient.
Location great
Staff great
Hotel generally great
Beds/pillows awful
Meal times too many people hard to get what you wanted
Fourth visit to H10, excellent service by all staff. Very friendly and they all go out of their way to deal with any problems. Good choice of things for breakfast and buffet for dinner. The weather was warm enough so my husband could swim in the pool on most days. The hotel is just out of Estepona but there is a bus stop right by the front of the hotel which takes you into the centre of Estepona. Good range of shops, cafes and restaurants and the walk back to the hotel is lovely along the front. From the hotel you can see Gibraltar on a clear day and well worth the visit to explore The Rock. The hotel is clean throughout with plenty of places to sit and read, or soak up the sun. We have enjoyed the stay again so much we hope to return next year.

Very spacious and clean
The food was excellent, but the dining area was too crammed , waiters trying to get trolleys through and chairs and tables being knocked , think the weather played a big part as probably in summer they could put dining tables on the outside area
Second year at the hotel and it didn’t disappoint! The evening entertainment was much improved this year and The Blue Team, in particular Tito, was outstanding. All of the restaurant team were efficient and accommodating.
Great room overlooking the pools and the cleaning staff were superb.
Can’t wait to come back next year 🩷
The size of the room and bathroom was great. Great view from the hotel out to sea.
The breakfast was varied.
Rooms cleaned and tidied, with fresh water and 2 coffee pods daily. Some free parking just out front. Straight onto the boardwalk out the back, great for exercise and a walk to Estepona town.
Only one section of pool open (end of Feb) noisy maintenance works waking us up and going on for the most of our time in the hotel, in the mornings mostly, we were not told about any of it happening. The website and booking makes it seem as you can use the indoor pool also, but it’s €26 for 90min per person. Very annoyed at this, we chose the hotel based on the indoor pool and felt very misled.
Waterproof mattress protectors, not particularly nice. Breakfast when it was busy was chaos due to the outside area to eat being closed.
Only 2 coffee pods per day in the rooms we felt was a little low for the hotel and type of room.
Our one week stay was great! Our room was large and clean; the housekeeper did a wonderful job - she organized our shoes and books! The hotel is quite large and sits right on the Mediterranean with a beautiful view.
The buffet is large and very varied - there is something for everyone.
We had an issue with our balcony door not closing properly and a repair person was there within one-half hour and fixed it.
Would definitely stay here again!
Las vistas y la amplitud de la habitación la animación
El calor en la habitación y no se podía regular
Our room was fine and kept clean, though occasionally wasn’t serviced until late afternoon. The hotel is of a good standard, a good 30=40 minutes walk to Estepona old town and 20 minutes to the port, which is where the nearest cafes, supermarket etc are. We had a car, parking was difficult outside the hotel, and the large underground car park costs €15 per day. Several UK channels on the tv and good wi fi. What spoiled our stay was the presence of 100+ young footballers, who devoured the buffet faster than it could be replenished. They also had their own allotted seating area, which left not enough tables for the other guests, leading to waits at busy times. Overall the food was decent though not much variety, no,theme nights though plenty of fish and meat cooked to order.
Nice view to the sea.
Delicious breakfast
Doors of balcony didn’t close - broken door look
The reception staff were amazing particularly one man whose name we didn’t get. Huge buffer - dining room a bit like a canteen but other than that very good hotel. Lovely views from the rooms and you can walk along the front for miles.
