Superbe séjour. Toute les personnelle était très professionnelle. Un mot en particulier pour Lucia Gomez, une excellent serveuse, toujours souriante et disponible.

Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of sun beds and pool towels.
Public walkways eg hallways and lift lobby not hoovered whilst we were there very dirty. Our room was very shabby in places, the balcony walls had crumbling & peeling paintwork. The bathroom door frame was all warped as if there had been a flood in the bathroom, toilet seat had lots of chipped marks. The shower screen had been bodged up with filler (very untidy). Generally dated although the bed linen, towels were spotless and changed daily.

Het zwembad was mooi en schoon. Het zwembad was niet verwarmd. De kamers waren ruim. Het ontbijt was redelijk tot goed. Er waren leuke restaurants in Estepona en enkele goede ijswinkels.
Het grootste probleem was het internet en het eten. Het internet werkte bijna niet en wanneer het werkte, dan duurde het extreem lang om iets op te zoeken of te versturen. Het ontbijt was redelijk tot goed, hoewel de koffie niet te drinken was. De kwaliteit van de lunch was slecht. Er was nauwelijks ruimte om de auto te parkeren, terwijl in de beschrijving stond dat er genoeg parkeerruimte was, maar de paar parkeerplaatsen die ze hadden waren altijd bezet. De gym was uiterst basic. Het personeel was vrij ongeïnteresseerd en stug. De haven zag er vrij armoedig uit en was ver weg. De binnenstad van Estepona en de boulevard waren matig en armoedig. Verder douchen in het bad.

Se supone que en la piscina no estaba permitido reservar las tumbonas, pero la realidad era muy diferente. Desde primera hora estaban prácticamente todas ocupadas con toallas, aunque muchas permanecían vacías durante horas. El primer día nos tuvimos que buscar la vida para encontrar sitio mientras veíamos cómo nadie hacía cumplir esa norma.
Al día siguiente decidimos hacer lo mismo, ya que parecía ser la única manera de conseguir una tumbona. Sin embargo, cuando nos fuimos a comer y volvimos, nos habían retirado no solo las tumbonas, sino también nuestras toallas personales, que ni siquiera eran del hotel.
Tras reclamar, los socorristas nos regalaron unas toallas del hotel para compensar el incidente, un gesto que agradecemos. Aun así, la situación nos pareció muy injusta. Si la norma es que no se pueden reservar tumbonas, debería aplicarse por igual a todos los huéspedes. Además, retirar pertenencias personales sin avisar puede generar un problema importante. En nuestro caso las toallas eran baratas, pero si hubieran sido unas de gran valor, ¿quién se habría hecho responsable?
