For last minute book in, the price was alright, expected for some amenities to work such as ac unit and shower tub

The maintained preserved history in that building.

We loved everything about this hotel the desk clerks Denise and Sam were amazing. Always helpful and friendly people. The room was spacious and clean.

Hotel way over priced. Cute hotel for young people.
Pros:

Booking.com never mentioned the hotel didn't have an elevator nor ocean view. We came home with swollen knees and aching backs. For the cost of the hotel, Breakfast was way over rat rated. Coffee n bagel "Really ". We liked nothing

Cons:

No Elevator, View of neighbors wall and windows , Broken Window Blinds, very stuffy rooms. No ventilation because A/C was difficult to operate. No wifi. TV with two remotes.

Totally pleasant stay
Pros:

Location was excellent, service great, as well as the cleanliness of the hotel.

Cons:

Continental breakfast was good but could have had a bit more. But grateful they did have something. Coffee was delightful

Pros:

Denise is an employee there who was extra helpful and so much fun to talk to. She loves the facility so much and had a lot of great info to share.

Family friendly with an amazing staff and comfortable rooms.
Pros:

The breakfast was awesome and well stocked with an attentive person. Honestly the staff was top tier. We will stay here again and recommend everyone we know to as well. It was very nice.

Cons:

I am wracking my brain but honestly it was such a pleasant experience I can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

Family-owned gem right in the heart of it all!!
Pros:

We were so happy to learn this is a family-owned business. They were so incredibly friendly and accommodating to our needs...they went above and beyond to honor an early check-in and also stored our luggage after check out so we could continue to explore before catching our ferry back. The room was just enough for us and the beds and pillows were probably the most comfortable we've ever slept on, and we travel a lot. Thanks for making our stay great!!

Cons:

This is the second oldest hotel in the US so the rooms were definitely dated. We didn't mind though because they really had all we needed. The fridge and microwave on the patio was so helpful also. One negative for us was that the smoking area was right underneath us so when people were smoking it would come right into our room and we could hear their conversations and the kids had a hard time sleeping through that. Other than that we had a great stay!!

Outdated and small rooms
Pros:

Location

Cons:

Room was very small and no space to walk/keep luggage. Add to that it was not even sound proof. Windows were partly always opened and paying 400$ for a night and not being able to get even a good sleep because of all outside noise was a big disaapointment

Convenient location but a bit over priced
Pros:

The front desk staff was very nice, friendly and provided complete and thorough information. The location is very good. The room is spacious and the bathroom newly remodeled.

Cons:

We booked a room with partially ocean view but there was really just minimum. The hotel doesn't have elevator, stair space is very narrow. There could be a make up mirror in the bathroom vanity area. I think it was over priced.
