Beautiful location, sizable room, kind staff
Pros:

The location was spectacular, close to everything. It was between the beach and the meet up location for many excursions. The staff were kind and gave us water bottles, along with recommendations for local eateries for free.

Cons:

Our room was on the edge of the building with a restaurant so we heard late night noises which sometimes ran later than we'd like. Our bathroom also had an issue that water would spill onto the floor.

It was a wonderful stay and I would recommend it to anyone who’s planning to visit Catalina.
Pros:

I loved the front desk employees, especially Denise and Bud!! They were an amazing host, welcoming us with smiles each time we enter and exit the property, always providing exceptional services, willing to take time to get to know each visitors and give good suggestions. Property was so close to the beach and all the other restaurants. It was clean, cozy, had all the equipments needed for overnight stays, microwave, hair drier, tv, etc.

Pros:

El cuarto super limpio, llegamos temprano y nos dejaron poner las maletas alli para pasear mientras nos entregaban la habitación.

Cons:

No funcionaba bien la señal de directv. Y la ventana del cuarto daba hacia la calle y en el dia muy temprano estaban trabajando alli y todo se escuchaba en la habitacion.

Pros:

They were accommodating to the ferry schedule in that we were able to use facilities after and before checkout - had a place for our luggage that was secure. Very clean and very friendly staff.

Need to update the rooms,
Pros:

I like the fact that it was close to the pier. I liked the staff was very nice.

Cons:

The proper property is not well maintained. The rooms are so not well designed the way they just throw in the double beds. There’s no style to the room. I paid almost $500 for two double beds and I could not believe how awful the setup was. I understand Catalina is a busy island and therefore some people don’t even have to put an effort in however if you’re charging that much for a room and there’s sand in the sheets there’s a problem. It’s a historic building and it should’ve had a beautiful interior remodel or style to the furniture.
The room that we were in, we could hear the kids running up and down the hallway. The view was not what I was expecting, especially when I was told that I was getting one of the best rooms.

Will definitely be booking here for the next trip!
Pros:

Amazing staff and very clean rooms. Staying at this place made my trip so much better!

Cons:

My table was a little wobbly and the Cable didn’t work but it takes nothing away from how much I loved staying here.

DONT STAY HERE. Faulse advertising.

Location to the beach was good

Cons:

This was false advertising. The pictures on Booking were taken from a few rooms that were remodeled. The pic implied the rooms were all the same. When we got to our room it was outdated by 50 years. The bathroom was disgusting. There were missing doors on the bathroom cabinet w/ exposed plumbing. The bathtub was discolored, outdated and full of mold on the shower curtain. The furniture in the room looked like it came from a garage sale. The TV didn’t work. The blinds were broken. The closet had an old dusty wicker dresser. I paid $600 for 1 night expecting the nice remolded rooms shown in the pic. The hotel is disputing my claim but look at the pictures below and compare to what the represent on Booking. This is a scam.

There were a number of significant drawbacks.
Pros:

One of the people at the reception desk, Bud, was helpful and friendly.

Cons:

There was a very strong odor of marijuana in the bathroom. The odor came and went, so someone close by must have been smoking it several times a day.
The other guy at reception insulted my wife by saying that the hotel did not accept prostitutes. My wife felt terribly disrespected, and she is still livid five days later.
