The food was not good.
This was our second stay at H10 Costa Adeje Palace, however after this experience we would not choose to stay here again and would strongly advise others to consider alternative hotels in the area.
One of the biggest issues during our stay was that we booked directly with H10, yet at no point were we informed that the main swimming pool would be closed for maintenance for the entire duration of our visit. While there is a second pool available, there is significant construction work taking place directly next door to the hotel. This meant spending the day listening to tractors and heavy machinery digging, which made it far from a relaxing poolside experience.
We also felt the hotel constantly tries to charge guests for things that should reasonably be included. For example, the kettle provided in the room was heavily filled with limescale and we were told there was a €2 per day charge for a replacement. Tea and coffee facilities cost €5 per day, which seems excessive for a hotel of this standard. When we asked for an iron, we were told irons are not available to guests and that the only option was an ironing service costing approximately €5 per item.
Similarly, guests are given one pool towel on arrival, but if you want to change it you are required to pay an additional charge. Again, this just feels like another opportunity to exploit guests and it leaves a very bad impression.
Housekeeping was also inconsistent. The bathroom was not always properly cleaned and dirty cups were often left in the room rather than replaced.
Another inconvenience was the TV not working. Unfortunately we didn’t have the best weather during our stay, so we occasionally spent time in the room. We reported the issue as soon as we noticed it, but it took nearly a day and a half before it was resolved.
The food in the restaurant was quite variable and, as other reviews have mentioned, was often cold. The breakfast service was particularly poor – if you wanted tea, coffee, or any drink, you would often wait 10–15 minutes just to get a member of staff’s attention.
On checkout day, considering the issues we had experienced, we asked about the possibility of a late checkout (which we were happy to pay for). We were advised to ask reception on the morning of departure. However when we did this, the blonde lady at reception was quite rude and dismissive. While another staff member was checking availability, she repeatedly interrupted saying “no, no, no” without even checking the system.
Overall, this stay was extremely disappointing. Having stayed here before, we expected much better service and communication. Unfortunately the experience did not reflect the price we paid, and there are certainly better hotels available in Tenerife for the same mone
Fabulous 7 day all inclusive holiday. Amazing staff , excellent accommodation good food and brilliant location. Hotel is spotless and cleaned every day. Drinks menu is excellent value and very good food choices. Staff are so friendly, helpful and polite and a credit to H10 hotel.

Loving our stay here, which is almost at an end. The rooms are huge, well kept and clean. The service is impeccable. My biggest qualm is the smoking thing. There's a lovely terrace outside on the back of the hotel (flor 2) absolutely IDEAL for a cocktail before dinner, HOWEVER, smoking is allowed all o er it, and yes - if you're a non-smoker it's either breathe in the horrible second hand smoke, or don't go there. After a couple of times, we chose the latter. It's the same in the gardens & round the pool. You pick a nice spot, settle down, and someone lights up 😡😡😡😡 I DO wish they would segregate smokers and non smokers.
That aside, I'd definitely come again, as I do love H10 hotels, on the whole.
Oh, and PLEASE may we have a kettle in the room, we love an Earl Grey first thing, but it's such a long trek to the dining room, we had to go without until we went down to breakfast.

Really nice hotel, excellent & very clean room. Nice meals in the 2 x al la carte restaurants. 4 star review is due to the slightly disappointing quality of food in the buffet restaurant. Choice & presentation was good, but lots of food lacked taste & seemed poor quality. Staff were fantastic in every area, would definitely return but on b&b.

Every time we took diner at the hotel, the food was cold. We were obligated to diner out of the hotel to get proper warm and delicious food. The service at the restaurant was hilarious, not organised. As a well known member and visitor of the hotel, we got a room with view on the working base behind the hotel. Every night very loud noise. Every morning at 7 working noise from cranes and motors ...
We stayed in the hotel for a one week break and had a very good time. The staff is super friendly and supportive, the food is fine. The room had a nice lateral view of the sea. We likely would come back and can certainly recommend this place.
