No, my travel was for work.
There is nothing to lift one’s spirits than waking up with the view of
ocean and natural sounds of birds sharing the island. The staff are warm and helpful and the rooms are cleaned each day. And after a scorching hot day there is a pool and a bar to wash away the stress of the day. Love it there.

This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. There is nothing good to say about this place. It was terrible. It was unsafe. I would not reccommend anyone to stay there. Every evening it was unsafe to walk to rooms, no security present, there were numerous Spanish speaking guys hanging outside, drinking, smoking, and leaving their trash all over. The females were afraid to walk outside by themselves at the hotel. Service was terrible at teh bar. Waited over 45 minutes for an order and finally left. Over priced. Out of date. I can go on about how bad this place was and would not reccommend anyone stay here.

The staff were sympathetic and friendly. The pool area and deck are nice. The view is gorgeous 😍😍. I would give an average rating as I believe the rooms can do with some upgrades. Otherwise can be an ideal stay for families who want to take a vacation away from home.😃
Beautiful resort to stay in Trinidad
Beautiful lobby view. Great staff and amenities. The property can use an upgrade. Also wish the pool was bigger. This can easily be a 5 star restaurant with some upgrades to the property.
Breakfast was very good. Staff was very friendly. Shantel was the most outstanding, friendly and helpful at the front desk. In addition, Nicole,Marlene, Michael, Ayanna ,Miss Perez, Cindy and the entire rest of the staff was friendly and helpful. I refused to let one bad employee spoil the the great experience I had at Cara.I would stay here again.
One associate , Clarisse , ( I may have spelt the name wrong)the front desk was very unfriendly and not willing to help with a small request we had. She attitude was very rude and unreceptive to getting us any answers for our small request.

I loved the pool an bar area the food was amazing the rooms nice next time I will like a room with a balcony other than that the room was nice
It don't have a gym
The property was clean, the room had a strong scent of bleach that made us sick. The food was great, the drinks were great and the staff was friendly.

The pressure and temperature of the water in shower do fluctuate significantly
The view and food were great.
The rooms were old and abit outdated, and the cable was terrible and basic. TV also could not connect to the internet to watch netflix or anything. Some staff were friendly while others barely acknowledged you and were not helpful.
The thing I appreciate most since the upgrades of the public spaces to a more modern design, is the tranquility of the location. The view of the Gulf of Paria is peaceful and it continues to give a calming energy to guests.
We held our wedding reception here and stayed several days before and after.
The staff are superb, special thanks to Leticia (wedding coordinator) and the service team on the night, they couldn't have been more helpful and friendly and made the night go so smoothly. The hotel has beautiful views and the rooms we had were a great size, clean and well maintained. Reception staff are helpful, loads of parking. Looking forward to staying there again
