Staff did not take time to help with a simple thing like finding my room. I was given a room on the ground floor, but it took me a while to find it despite asking a staff member who did not take the time to show me. After going back to reception and being pointed in the direction of the room, I finally found another staff member who showed me a door that was in fact a lift to the rooms. When I got to the room, The key didn't work so I had to take this very confusing lift back to the reception level and go back to reception. They then gave me a room on the 1st floor which I easily found and got into my room.
Runway views and quiet

Rooms are well-appointed and very comfortable. Excellent beds, desks, good bathrooms, and even Fairtrade tea. Extremely quiet despite being literally beside the runway. Very clean and well-kept. Lovely staff who went out of their way to be helpful. Amazing location - very easy to access by public transport. And if you like airplanes, the view of the runway would be fairly spectacular ... though it really brings home the levels of air traffic and consequent carbon emissions.
Not the hotel's fault - it is providing a service and providing it well. But future generations will wonder why people like us were rating airport hotels rather than worrying about frying our planet.

Easy check in and out. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a view of the runway but it wasn't that noisy. Overall a very quiet hotel. Friendly staff . The room was well stocked with the ability to make coffee or tea in the room
It would have been nice to have a paper copy of when and where breakfast and other events were because after being on an overnight flight you don't always remember everything that is conveyed at check-in

I was required to pay for parking despite being in the process of checking in. There was a 20-minute wait in line, and the complimentary parking period was limited to 15 minutes. My intention was to check in and depart immediately.
