Great views to watch the planes!
Pros:

Friendly, helpful staff, great views from the runway room. Great breakfast choice. Evening meal was good too.

Cons:

If the window could of opened in the room, also seating area at the back to watch the planes I sat on a little brick wall under a tree. Seating area would be great.

Very pleasant, quiet and convenient
Pros:

Very close to airport. Amazingly quiet for so close! Room rates seemed reasonable. Decor was clean and fine, not new but not tired. Staff friendly and efficient. London taxi only £12 to/from airport. Bar was pretty, food ok. Uber Eats delivered fine. McDonald’s etc nearby too, probably walking distance.

Cons:

Food was a little pricey, with 12% surcharge, but ok for a hotel.

Second stay
Pros:

Lovely spacious rooms, lovely bar area and the bar served delicious food for lunch and dinner time.

Cons:

Some of the staff (not all) seemed like they didn’t want to be there an just wanted to get the day done which I didn’t experience on my first stay.
