Pleasant stay, historical property
The young man at the desk was so helpful and best customer service !!
Nice spot...location is sketchy....lots of randoms walking around and acosting visitors.
Great atmosphere and interesting spaces. Spacious rooms and the porcg is a nice space.
Clean, luxury towels, tastefully historical restoration of the building. Lovely courtyard and bar. What a unique gem, just outside the bustle of downtown. I would stay her again!
Shuttle service was great. Wonderful stay.
Great hidden gem. Hotel interior exceeds expectations. Check-in smooth and gracious. Breakfast and breakfast area more than adequate. German restaurant serving wurst and more within walking distance.
Beautiful hotel! Wonderful "sitting room" lobby areas, fun bar, truly gracious and helpful staff.
Neighborhood's not the greatest for a stroll, but I felt comfortable inside the hotel.
Our room's bathroom was tiny and awkward to get in and out of (plus no shampoo/soap!) - but the room itself was spacious & we loved the high ceilings and feeling of being in a home, not a sterile hotel.
Will definitely return!
Beautiful hotel and close to the ball parks. The immediate area feels a bit sketchy after dark.
Wonderful boutique hotel with all of the unique amenities of a 19th century English hotel in the countryside (but in case, the city of Pittsburgh)
The hotel is very clean, and the staff is very attentive. This is not a normal hotel, though. It's a former monastery, and has the charm of a former monastery. All the rooms seem to be one offs due to the fact that it was a former monastery. Don't expect a hotel chain, and you will have a wonderful stay.
The Style of the property is quite special. It is not a cookie cutter hotel In any way. It's beautifully appointed and exceptionally well kept. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We just thoroughly liked everything about staying at the Priory.
Really loved our stay here. Unique hotel with great professionals. Quiet, extremely comfortable and super clean. Breakfasts were nicely done and very convenient. Will definitely stay there again.
The hotel was beautiful the room was nice patio was nice only thing we didn’t like was our bathroom was tiny about 2 inches the door would hit the toilet!
Love the style, ambience, and the friendly staff!
Great historic hotel. The bed was really comfortable and the bar was convenient. We enjoyed the courtyard as well. The downside was that the shower was really small the neighborhood seemed somewhat unsafe for night walking.
Great hotel and staff, just not a place for walking to restaurant, etc.
The brick building has so much character. The decor is simple and elegant. Common spaces are sufficient. The courtyard with the fountain is a peaceful spot is a nice place to eat breakfast or just to relax.
Breakfast: you check off your choices on a sheet of paper the evening before. You also select your time for pickup so that the sandwich is hot. Coffee and tea available in common area as well as in your room.
Shower: it took a long time for hot water to come.
A/C was loud when it turned on for a short burst of air.
If you are sensitive to outdoor noise, be aware that trains go by at night.
Sketchy neighborhood, but the hotel is at the end of the street. Private lot directly across the street was nice, considering that other options in Pittsburgh charge $30 or more for parking.
We walked across the bridge and into Pittsburgh with no problems.
We would not hesitate to stay here again.
Quick overnight trip with my family. The gentlemen working the front desk when we checked in was fabulous. Very helpful! Also, lady filling in at Monks Bar was very accommodating!
Excellent boutique hotel in Pittsburgh area within walking distance of both sports stadiums and many dining and activities. They did a great job of renovating the old building into a hotel and the staff was outstanding.
