Arrivo in hotel disagievole

Colazione buona (mancava un po' di dolce)
Camera comoda (ma al tilden non al cornell)

All'arrivo in hotel, ci è stato comunicato un problema di disponibilità delle camere. Non subito, ma dopo le nostre lamentele ci hanno trasferito Al Tilden hotel, e sempre sotto nostra pressione ci siamo fatti chiamare un uber.
​In primo luogo, la notifica dell'indisponibilità delle camere è arrivata solo mentre eravamo già in volo. Al nostro arrivo presso il Cornell Hotel, ci è stato inizialmente proposto di separarci dal resto del nostro gruppo (una seconda prenotazione di 3 persone). Solo a seguito delle nostre ferme rimostranze, ci sono state assegnate due camere presso il Tilden Hotel. Abbiamo inoltre dovuto insistere per ottenere il rimborso del trasferimento in Uber, reso necessario dal cambio di struttura e dal trasporto dei bagagli.

​Purtroppo i disagi sono proseguiti presso il Tilden Hotel: il personale al desk non era stato correttamente informato e ci ha comunicato che la colazione non era inclusa, nonostante la nostra prenotazione originale la comprendesse esplicitamente. La colazione successivamente andavamo a farla al Cornell (10 minuti a piedi)

Will never stay at this place again.
Pros:

I liked the location. Close to Powell Street.

Cons:

Dirty bedsheets, covered in long black hair. Hallways full with piles of dirty towels that weren't removed but only grew in size for 3 days. No hot water. Rooms not remotely as pictured on their website. No frontdesk staff for 80% of the time. Etc. Etc etc.

- L’amabilité du personnel
- La petite salle au rez-de-chaussée avec thé et café à disposition + un micro-onde très pratique pour ceux désirant manger sur place.
- Le petit-déjeuner varié… certains jours !

Cons:

- Le petit déjeuner nettement plus réduit certains autres jours… en raison de ruptures d’approvisionnement (pas de jus d’orange, ni de pâte à gaufres, ni de bols de céréales etc. à certains moments).

It was an interesting swing from very neat to bummer.
Pros:

It was clean and the location was good. The elevator was fascinating as an antique cage pulled by a single wire rope works so efficiently . Very kind staff. The breakfast room was neat. Liked the soap they use in the shower and the shower got nice and hot ( takes a minute) with decent pressure.

Cons:

I wanted to stay here because of the antique furniture and cottage like decor. My room wasn’t ready and the room I ended up in was decorated with furniture that was more second hand motel vibe. Bummed me out. Coffee was the worst I ever had and no bacon at breakfast (ran out) despite smelling it from my room.

The hotel room was not clean and had hygiene issues. I was given a lower-category, uncomfortable room than what I booked. The room was cold, the heating didn’t work, and there was an unpleasant odor. Basic essentials like a toothbrush and enough towels were missing. Overall, my stay was very disappointing.

Bel emplacement, parfait pour un court séjour.
Pros:

Le style de l'hôtel, atypique.
Le petit déjeuner, très bien !
La propreté.

Cons:

Les chambres doubles sont un peu petites surtout mes GRANDS ados.
C'est de ma faute, mais attention il faut savoir qu'il n'y a pas de parking.
Un juste en face à 60 dollars la nuit !

Está increíblemente limpio, la ubicación es simplemente perfecta (a 2 cuadras aproximadamente del union square)

Cons:

Tuvimos un pequeño inconveniente antes de mi llegada, querían cambiarme de hotel debido a un tema de disponibilidad de habitaciones, pero mas bien se solucionó y pudieron mantenerme en el hotel

A good location but not the value I expected
Pros:

The staff were friendly and the location was great! There were a few issues but the staff did help with the heater and the hot water worked the second night. The elevator was cool and the French medieval decor was unique. The bed was comfortable enough and the bathtub was nice. I appreciated the kindness of the staff.

Cons:

The room didn't match the blue Queen Deluxe one I booked and I had specifically chosen this hotel for the nice room (also paying more for it). The first night the hot water didn't work (so no bath :( ) and the heater was broken. The breakfast was not at the quality I'd expect. I think for the price, the value was not there for me as it was expensive.
