Location was excellent, staff so friendly and helpful,
Although we enjoyed staying here and would recommend it , the property could do with some renovation and deep cleaning work, especially in the public areas
- L’Architecture victorienne
- Équipe sympa
Pub dans l’établissement qui permet de faire un bon repas le soir et de consommer des boissons dans une bonne ambiance.
- Emplacement pratique pour visiter Londres
Great location. Fab breakfast. Friendly staff. Couldn’t fault it - great value for money.
La gentillesse du personnel, l accueil, la proprete et le confort.
L hotel est bien situé le long de la tamise, pres des southbank.
Il faisait un peu chaud dans la chambre, mais c etait une periode de fortes chaleur a Londres
The staff: amazingly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
Breakfast was plentiful, fresh and off good quality
Food wise all good
Nice breakfast and great pub for drinks.
Convenient location.
There is no air conditioning and it was quite warm. They were very nice to give us some fans and we made the best of it.
The theme was nice, the staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was good. Location was good for my conference purpose.
The facilities were quite worn and the price was high (London is generally expensive. I wanted to like the hotel, but it would need a bit of TLC.
If it was mine, I would take the Alice-theme further. Have colourful wallpapers, hat-lamps and surprising interiors. Huge Alice themed coffee/teacups for breakfast. A tea party on Saturday afternoon…
location
there was a noisy fan, no air con so room was boiling hot, the carpet was stained, the bin in the bathroom was full of rubbish
Lovely hotel, comfy beds, breakfast was good quality and tasty with numerous options available
We've just spent 4 nights at the Mad Hatter. It's a hotel with loads of character and is located just off Blackfriars Bridge.
Loads of good stuff, the check in, staff, food (breakfast and evening meals) and bar were all excellent and the bedroom and bathroom were good too.
Our only issue was the lack of air conditioning/ventilation which made the room incredibly hot.
Whilst it was an issue with the temperature 35 degrees outside, we accept that's what you get with a listed building. Most of the time it's probably fine.
Characterful hotel with comfortable rooms and lovely staff. The breakfast was superb with far better options than I was expecting - I'd recommend the shakshuka!
We had a room at the front of the building, so there was some traffic noise earlier in the evening. Although not bad enough to impact our sleep, very light sleepers might want to ask for a room further back from the road.
Great location, within 20-30 minutes walking radius from many great points. Blackfriars and Southwark stations within a few minutes of walk open great transportation options.
Nagyon jó az elhelyezkedés, tradicionális épület, nagyon terszett. Igazán jó a pub.
Nem volt klíma a szobában, ki kellett nyitni az ablakokat, mert meleg volt es zaj is bejött.
Our room was clean and spacious, with added extras like a fan , fridge , iron - they even stocked our fridge with complimentary water and milk and provided tea and coffee making facilities. We were also provided with bath robes, and other bathroom items.
The location was great! We were in walking distance of Southwark station, and also around 22 minute walk from London theatres, restaurants and bars.
We chose the bed and breakfast option and honestly the breakfast was lovely , aswell as a full English breakfast we was also provided with continental options which include hot pastries, fruit, selection of jams and cereals , and juice.
There was nothing that we didn’t like about the property.
