Pleasant stay in lively location
Pros:

Location was ideal right next to Blarney castle. The breakfasts were delicious. The hotel was very busy when we were there so a good atmosphere. Staff were helpful.

Cons:

We didn't realise our room would be above the busy bar but all noise ceased at 11 pm so was OK. Our shower controls were difficult to operate and would benefit from instructions. Only a small car park but large public one near by.

Pros:

The hotel was cosy and hospitable. Ideal for a one night work trip. A lovely welcoming feel from the reception to the bar staff all expressed a welcoming smile and time to take food orders and give room directions etc.

Pros:

La chambre très spacieuse et sont lit gigantesque.
La salle de bain spacieuse et bien équipée.
Les petites attentions (bouteille d'eau, biscuits) renouvelées chaque jour.
Un grand nombre de prises électriques.
La qualité du petit déjeuner, tout est fait maison et préparé à la commande.
Un petit parking privé (5 voitures) fermé la nuit, très appréciable lorsqu'on est motard.
La présence de pub et de restaurant à quelques pas.
La proximité de Cork (9 km) mais sans avoir les inconvénients de la ville.

Cons:

Peut être le prix un peu élevé.

Just what I needed
Pros:

The whole place was spotless. Breakfast was very good plenty of choice poached eggs were perfect. My room was beautifully furnished very comfortable bed. Bathroom was well appointed spotless with a good supply of towels and toiletries.The staff were well trained very efficient worked well as a team without being "in your face".

Amazing location steps from Blarney Castle gives you the perfect Irish experience.
Pros:

The Blarney Castle Hotel is the PERFECT location to experience Blarney Castle and the town! It could not have been a better location or experience. The people and the bar energy and local people were AMAZING. This hotel truly made the trip to Blarney Castle worthwhile and all the walkability was perfect.

Cons:

We were there during a heat wave and I know this is unusual but with the weather changing I do think they should invest in some portable AC units to help out the people who are used to having AC. A Portable 6,500 BTU unit with window venting would have been MUCH appreciated.

it's location (2 min walk) to blarney castle is it's USP
Pros:

nice spacious (but hot) room and it was within 2 minutes walk to the castle grounds which proved to be a real bonus after spending a long day exploring the castle and it's grounds. Staff at the hotel were welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. Our room on the top floor (I note that our bags were carried up to our room on arrival) it was well kitted out with the usual tea making facilities and plenty of areas for luggage etc good sized bed . We did visit during a mini heatwave and found the room very warm (even with the fan provided) if you're used to air con rooms then unfortunately blarney castle is not for you. we had a pleasant meal in the bar area and breakfast on the morning before leaving, breakfast proved to be limited to cooked items except a baked scone (which we found a bit strange for a breakfast offer) again if you're seeking a continental style breakfast look elsewhere. The cooked breakfast was served hot and was tasty
