Rikli Balance Hotel was our favorite hotel of our week long visit to Slovenia. It is a great value, and a perfect base for your Slovenia adventures. The breakfast they offer included in the rate is fantastic, and we highly recommend reserving a lake view room. It has the best view of the entire lake right from our balcony. The sauna world is quite an amazing experience too and only €20 for hotel guests. Huge thank you to the overnight front desk worker on May 9; our taxi to the airport at 3am did not show up, and he made calls to get us a new taxi, prepared us breakfast to take with us, and helped us bring our bags outside. He was so kind, thank you!

The facilities ( swimming pool) , clean room , location near the lake.
Breakfast variety can be improved as we are staying quite a number of days.
The pool is just a fantastic surplus for Children

Il ristorante è secondo me per quanto pagato tutto doveva essere compreso …. Ad esempio parcheggio che viene presentato come gratuito … l’area wellness …. In altri alberghi meno costosi tutto questo era compreso …. E il ristorante se si pensa che comunque è un quattro stelle e ha un costo non da poco non vale i soldi che chiedono

For me it leaves a little bad taste in my mouth that the saunas take extra charge, and the parking fee. Would prefer if it was calculated into the pricing.

The management of this hotel chain treated me extremely poorly. They acted solely in their own interest, with no concern for the welfare of I, the customer.
I made a mistake. I am on a one month trip that I planned myself. I booked the hotel 5 months in advance. Unfortunately, I selected the wrong dates. Check in April 23; out April 25. I meant to book check in April 25; check out April 27. I only discovered my mistake the night before my intended arrival, before leaving the hotel I stayed in April 23-25 in Ljubljana.. By that time, the hotel had cancelled my reservation and charged me a one night no show fee. I asked that they book me for the 2 intended nights and credit the no show fee against the cost. They refused. They were rude; accusing me of being pretty stupid not to have noticed my error earlier (Remember I am on a one month trip with multiple stays). They were even willing to cost themselves money just to stand by their cancellation policy! I was willing to pay for an additional night so they would get two nights revenue, instead of the one night no show fee. This is in April so they were not full.
This was an example of horrific, shortsighted customer service. Beware!!!
