The best part about this hotel by far is the location directly across from Eagle Beach. Unfortunately the facilities and overall experience were far below expectations. The hotel is old and in need of repair and maintenance. It seems to attract large numbers of smokers who sit outside their rooms and other areas in close proximity to nonsmoking guests like us who were constantly being exposed to second hand smoke, which is a documented health hazard. When we brought this to the attention of staff, they basically shrugged their shoulders and said they couldn’t do anything about it. This was unacceptable. The hotel should state on their website that they allow smoking. We would have stayed elsewhere had we known that.

Staff were great. Always smiling,friendly & ready to help. Very close to the beach. Good value for our stay. Very quiet at night
Plenty of lounge chairs fir guest but not a lot of Umbrellas(first come basis, you have to wake up early)

I like that the property was across the street from the beach
I didn’t like that you had to wake up super early just to grab a chair and get an umbrella provided by the hotel to come to find out people not even staying at the hotel grab them first ,didn’t think that was right. The pool, what pool the pictures are very deceiving beware if you’re looking for somewhere to put your feet into that’s about it. That was not a pool very disappointed.

a Equipe nos recebeu muito bem, mesmo de última hora, guardou nossas bagagens enquanto não poderíamos fazer o checkin, e pudemos ir passear tranquilamente.
O quarto é antigo mas muito confortável, cama boa, ducha boa, e tivemos um upgrade para um quarto que seria para uma familia, (dois quartos com um banheiro compartilhado).
Frigobar, cofre, armário e amenidades no banheiro da Aloe Aruba, que gostamos bastante pela hidratação :D
As estiradeiras e cadeiras, ficam disponíveis, mas até as 17hs, se quiser ficar para o por do sol, vai ter que chegar antes disso.
A cama estava um pouco barulhenta, algum plástico nela, não pudemos avaliar uma noite de sono pq não dormimos lá.
O responsável pelas cadeiras e estiradeira vai embora cedo, e acabamos ficando assistindo o por do sol na areia mesmo, nada que gerasse desconforto.
This was our 5th annual vacation at MVC. We are fans. Staff members are cheerful and helpful. Room is comfortable and clean. Beach with chairs is across a small street and it is clean and beautiful.
Our only criticism is the breakfast has remained the same and staying for 11 days is quite monotonous. Every day is the same tray.

Great location! Right across the street from the beach, one minute away. Eagle Beach is not overcrowded. MVC has reserved chairs on the beach for free use. Every morning there is a continental breakfast, included in the price. The front desk (concierge) is very helpful; we used them for taxis, car rental, and dinner reservations. Water pressure and volume and temperature stability in the shower is excellent!
The breakfast is not great: too much bread and juice and ham, no made to order dishes. We only ate about half of it, so much went to waste. The hotel is dated, but a better price and availability compared to others in the area.

Minha experiência foi muito abaixo do esperado. O café da manhã não é em formato de buffet — é apenas uma bandeja servida aos hóspedes, com porções mínimas. Pedi um ovo frito e um omelete, mas não foram preparados; veio apenas metade de um ovo.
Além disso, o ambiente do café da manhã é mal higienizado, com muitos pássaros ao redor das mesas e limpeza precária.
As fotos do site não condizem com a realidade. Mostram quartos com vista para a praia, mas isso só seria possível nos quartos das pontas, e ainda assim de forma parcial. A piscina exibida nas fotos é extremamente pequena, e a imagem parece ter sido feita com uma criança para dar a impressão de ser maior.
Outro ponto grave é a falta total de segurança: qualquer pessoa pode entrar nas dependências do hotel sem controle algum.
Em resumo, se você busca conforto, segurança e honestidade nas informações, evite este hotel. Se quiser viver uma péssima experiência, então o MVC Eagle Beach é o lugar certo.
