Close to airport and rental car return

They had a room available after a number of flights were diverted to Detroit and everything was booked up. In a pinch it worked. The AC was good and it was close to the airport.

They are thieves at this location claimed I smoked in a room when neither me or my guest smokes, and the room didn’t even have a fire alarm and claimed that I requested late check out and didn’t leave my room till after 2 PM, which both are a total lie that they cannot prove and are attempting to keep my deposit I highly do not recommend anyone to stay here!!!

I want to take a moment to recognize Amber at the front desk for the outstanding service she provided during our stay.
My family was dealing with a major power outage after severe storms left hundreds of thousands of people without electricity. It happened over the holiday, we lost all of our groceries, and by the time we arrived, we were exhausted, hot, hungry, and honestly pretty frustrated from everything we'd been dealing with.
From the moment we walked in, Amber was friendly, patient, and genuinely kind. She greeted us with a smile and made us feel welcome, even though I'm sure we weren't exactly bringing the best energy with us that day.
What stood out most was that it wasn't just us. While we were there, I watched Amber help guest after guest, and she treated everyone with the same professionalism, patience, and positive attitude. No matter how busy things got, she never seemed bothered or rushed.
Working on a holiday isn't easy, and it would have been understandable if someone was just going through the motions. Amber did the exact opposite. She was warm, caring, and made a stressful situation feel much more manageable.
I don't usually take the time to write reviews, but great customer service deserves to be recognized. Amber made a difficult day a lot easier for my family, and we're very grateful for her help. I hope she receives the recognition she deserves for going above and beyond.

This place is pretty clean. $100 cash deposit. Lots of restaurant nearby. Staff is loud and unprofessional. Made more noise than the guests.

The complimentary breakfast is about as bare bones as it comes. I showed up at 6am to find someone elbow deep in a pitcher of pancake batter. Unprepared to start serving breakfast scheduled from 6am-9am. I came back at 7am to bread and a toaster, a few packs of instant oatmeal, little plastic wrapped apples, a communal pitcher of waffle mix and a shared bottle of off-brand syrup [which I had to search for, and found under the counter cabinets].

Had my 3 year old sleeping in our room. Was told I couldn’t take her any food. There was a sign mentioning “refillable juice”. Juice machine was completely turned off. No napkins. Directed to a front desk box of tissues.

Long story short, don’t stay for the breakfast.

Cool and silent place

Bed was the only thing that was clean. Which for a budget hotel was nice. A/c worked, mini fridge worked. Price was good but the property was not as advertised. If I had not already paid for the accommodations I would have stayed somewhere else.
