The room food
Noice .last nights noice and this morming alarm went of in room
Nothing.
From the front of the hotel , it looks like a castle , but the back of the hotel looks like a rundown hotel. The rooms were extremely small and severely outdated. The cost was exorbitant, way more than it was worth. Seventeen days in ireland the last two , we're at this hotel and by far the worst hotel of my seventeen day.
It was very central for exploring Sligo. Our apartment was a wee bit dated and they could do with updating curtains. The noise level was off the charts first night but when brought to front desk there was no repeat. A good stay but it’s a shame they can not invest in updating.
The thin walls
Huge rooms, amazing and comfortable beds, excellent bath and shower room, helpful and obliging staff, great breakfast and just a lovely hotel. Food was delicious and service prompt.
Some late night noise, wasn’t sure what it was, didn’t last long, but par for the course in hotels.
The hotel is dated. The room (a family suite) was disappointing.
The onsite restaurant was mediocre at best. Staff were sluggish and unaccommodating. I had an issue with the bill, being charged full price (most expensive dish on the menu) for a kids partial portion. Considering that I had spent a considerable amount to stay there and also spent quite a bit in the restaurant for the other drinks and dishes, there was no effort to make a concession. It wasn't the value of the price being charged, it was the lack of consideration from the manager in this instance. So disappointed. I will never be back at this hotel. I would advise any potential visitors to consider an alternative hotel. There are other hotels in Sligo that are more centrally located, more modern, and undoubtedly much better value.
It was clean and tidy and the staff were very helpful
We didn’t know how to operate the shower to begin with but we got it sorted before we left.
Friendly staff
Clean, great service and great breakfast
