Cons:

My room was very odd, like a student apartment that had just been divided up for the day. There were other doors in the hallway of the room that were locked and there was no lock on my bedroom door which made me feel like I was staying in digs.

Good spot to stay in Sligo
Pros:

Pleasant staff and we enjoyed the pool and a lovely meal in the restaurant.

Cons:

Strangely, the toilet paper was poor quality and not in keeping with the quality choices elsewhere in the hotel

I liked the room and the facilities

Cons:

My partner got injured due to a problem with the pool the issue has been resolved but I think if theres any issues with a facility there should be noticeable signs up and the staff should also let people know as someone else could also get injured

Great hotel!
Pros:

We were pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the hotel was! The food was excellent too! Great location.

Cons:

The only issue was that we got lost a couple of times 😆 Has a hard time locating the gym and pool, but enjoyed it once we found it. Couldn't use the TVs, but we don't watch much TV anyway, so it wasn't a big deal.

We were there for a wedding, enjoyed our stay, hotel was a bit to far from Sligo town

The stay
Pros:

Breakfast was very good and wholesome i have to say.
The bar drinks were good also.

I needed to work on on the Monday am and my husband was gone to Donegal the staff in the housekeeping couldn't have being nicer and facilitating.

Cons:

Breakfast we had as an added extra on day 2 - I had 2 guests in for breakfast which I paid for the lady manager at the reception was a bit Kurt towards me, I've never experienced this before

Also the swimming pool changing room was in need of a clean - hair on the floor even a wet nappy - I brought it to the attention of the swimming pool desk staff, he thanked me very kindly for saying this and said they were waiting on staff to come from the upstairs to do the cleaning downstairs as they were missing cleaning staff for the pool area.

Nice functional family hotel, good staff and very clean. Prob not somewhere for a relaxing retreat.
Pros:

Great selection for breakfast. Very clean. Food in the bar was very good. Good large pool. Excellent gym.

Cons:

The bar is designed for eating, not a place for a pint and a read of the paper or to gather with others. If you have noisey neighbours there's not much sound-proofing between rooms.
