I've stayed in many luxury hotels, but this one was miles ahead of them all.
Our room was very large and had a beautiful view. It was also immaculately clean throughout our entire stay.
The pool area was clean with stunning views, they brought us water by the pool each day.
Breakfast was delicious, there was a large buffet and eggs cooked to order. It was also in a beautiful location on the balcony overlooking the river.
We ate lunch at the hotel every day and it was also delicious, cocktails at the bar were enjoyable too. They had live music one evening but sadly we missed it.
They have a small bus which takes you to/from Florence center throughout the day which was very helpful.
Staff throughout the hotel were attentive and friendly.
Despite a little rain, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I can't wait to visit again!
Just a couple tiny points:
I asked for a dinner recommendation in Florence but was given a book with about 30+ choices. A smaller list or personal recommendation would have been helpful.
It would be nice for the hot foods at breakfast (sausage, bacon and potatoes) to also be cooked to order or kept warmer.

Information regarding shuttle is difficult to find when making travel plans and is far from train station or airport. It also closes mid day for two hours.

We stayed at this hotel and absolutely loved our experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome — kind, professional, and always ready to help. The front desk team took care of every detail and made everything feel effortless.
The location, set in the suburbs, was calm and pleasant — close enough to reach the city easily, yet quiet enough to enjoy peaceful moments. The view from our room was beautiful, especially in the mornings and evenings.
The restaurant was excellent — not only was the food delicious, but the restaurant staff offered such warm, heartfelt care. They paid attention to every detail and made each meal feel special.
The shuttle service was fantastic and made getting around easy and comfortable. Every service reflected real thoughtfulness and a touch of luxury.
The atmosphere of the hotel was elegant, cozy, and full of genuine warmth. We left feeling happy, relaxed, and deeply grateful for such a beautiful experience. ❤️

A wonderful hotel, managed at the highest level
Rooms need some update, regarding electric and USB outlets.
Rooms were beautiful and immaculate, beautifully designed. The hotel itself was beautiful and with perfect Tuscany charm. Enjoying river view at every breakfast and sunset at dinner are perfect ways to start the day and wind down after a day of touring.
Breakfast was good and the hotel prepared fresh fruit juices every morning and brought them to the table specifically for the guests (unlike some where fruit juices were just produced in bulk and placed on buffet bar table). Staff were attentive and joyful - happy staff happy place!
Prior to our arrival we requested the hotel to make a few restaurant reservations and we were presented with a professionally prepared typed up letter with details of all the reservations. These are the little details that differentiate a true five star hotel from a mediocre one.
We loved the place so much and it's by far one of the best 5 stars hotel we've stayed at.

Everything was fabulous, we got upgraded to a suite with terrace overlooking the river and the hills. The staff were beyond helpful, very attentive to our messages. The shuttle service to downtown was excellent. This is the place to stay at when you want to enjoy Florence but stay away from the crowds. Will definitely come back!
