It had everything we needed and the food was outstanding !!

Lovely clean and comfortable hotel located a block away from The Strip. Despite being near The Strip there was no noise from the bars/ clubs. Every member of staff we met was friendly and helpful. We were “all inclusive” and the food was really good. There was a great selection of food. It was freshly made and really tasty. Lovely salads, pastries, fruit, breads, meat, poultry, fish dishes, veg, pizza, pasta dishes and a variety of desserts. We couldn’t fault the food & enjoyed every meal. The restaurant staff worked hard to clear plates and keep the restaurant clean. There were a selection of self serve drinks taps-soft drinks, water, red/rose/white wine/ lagers/sangria. The sangria was really good!
The entertainment team were really good and did well to cater to guests of different nationalities. The pool area was kept clean and there were lots of sunbeds. The hotel ran a courtesy bus along to The Fishermens Beach along at the Old Town regularly throughout the day. We preferred to walk to Oura Beach which was 10 minutes down a steep hill. It was beautiful & very quiet. The walk to the Old Town took approx 40 minutes. The Strip is more suited to the young partygoers & The Old Town is also busy and catered for mixed age groups. Albufeira nightlife had a great party atmosphere & everyone was having a great time. We really enjoyed our time at the hotel & Albufeira.

A lovely very clean hotel we found all the staff reception, Cleaners, dinning room and bar staff to be friendly they have a fantastic animation team from around the world encouraging you to join in with activities I personally enjoyed Dancing in the pool, Archery & Darts. They put on some fantastic shows and are very talented. The hotel location is in the new town with a big Aldi just up the road. There is a very lively strip not far so you do get all groups of people at the hotel Hen/stag do’s, big groups, families, people of all ages (this didn’t bother us) Although my son was not keen on the strip. The indoor pool and jacuzzi opened whilst we were there the indoor pool was nice and warmer than the outdoor one the jacuzzi was cold but bubbly. All the food is served in the restaurant so if you want a snack you need to make sure you dried and clothed. Our only complaint was the drinking glasses in the restaurant are not big enough. We brought our own water bottles to fill with water to keep hydrated the drinking water is warm in the restaurant but cold from the pool bar. The free bus shuttle to the Old town is great and we used this a couple of times. The speciality restaurant can be booked if you stay for 7 nights or more and made a nice change with great service and freshly cooked food you just have to pay for your drinks. The food is good and plentiful. We would recommend this hotel and had a great weeks holiday in the May Half term.

We came here for my daughters 30th Birthday Holiday 11 of us all female from age 30 to 75. Can honestly say we had the best time it’s a great hotel the rooms are lovely and very spacious large bedroom living area with sofa and small kitchen area although the hotel is all inclusive it is handy to have a fridge. We all found the food to be really good and didn’t feel the need to eat out which we have done at previous hotels in the past. The staff are all very nice and friendly. The animation team are excellent and work very hard we would all come back for sure :)

The cocktails are okay not the best we have had but the wine is lovely and on tap in the restaurant i am fussy with my wine and can honestly say its the first all inclusive hotel I have been to where I loved the wine :)

They have water machines to top up your water bottles and the bar staff will give you ice too take a good cup and the water stays ice cold all day :)

We had amazing weather too absolutely love Portugal and hope to get back soon :)

It’s also in a great location 5 mins from the strip we spent most of our time in the old town (too old for the strip lol) use bolts and Ubers they are ridiculously cheap don’t use the local taxis they are a rip off.

You need to get down early for a sunbed people were down at 7.30am lying on them lol

Tip: My mother needs a walk in shower the hotel only has one room with this and we were lucky to get it. All other rooms have baths.

We had the best stay here at this hotel. I would highly recommend and we will definitely be returning.
The staff were all super friendly from the Reception to the bar staff the entertainment team, especially.
The entertainment team were absolutely fantastic for the children. They made it so fun with plenty of activities games and lovely shows in the evening. I couldn’t thank them enough for making the Holiday so memorable and enjoyable for my children.
The food quality was perfect. The rooms were lovely and clean.

Spent 10 days as a family (3 people). Overall, the place is clean, staff are helpful and efficient, entertainers are very good. The main advantage is the soundproof system of the rooms - it is really efficient (once you close the door, it is quiet, regardless of the noise level outside).
On the low side - food quality is average, bread was stale, cereal choice is really poor, meat was pretty tough. On the 5th day we were not looking forward to our meals. Staff at the restaurant is standing nearby looking at you ready to collect dishes (even though it is good to monitor and clean the plates, it made us quite uneasy to eat in front of the staff observing us).
Upon our arrival, there were unexpected fees - taxes (3 euro per day) and deposit (150 euro). Even though the deposit is refundable it would be helpful to notify the guests in advance of this.
Territory of the hotel is very small if you fancy to have a little walk without leaving the hotel. There is a SPAR nearby the hotel. Beware of the busy roads, cars do not tend to stop letting you go even on the dedicated road.
As a conclusion, we were happy to leave the hotel and go home)). Maybe that is the very purpose of holidays - to be happy coming back home.
Will we come back to that place - unlikely!

My girlfriend and I stayed at Albufeira Sol Hotel and Spa, and we had a great time. We are both in our twenties, and the hotel had a really relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere throughout our stay.

The animation team were friendly and made the experience fun, but one of the biggest highlights was definitely the homemade pancakes and crêpes. They were absolutely amazing, and the lady who made them was fantastic.

The all-you-can-eat food was perfect for us, the drinks were decent, and overall the hotel had great vibes. The location was also excellent, making it easy to enjoy the local area.

I would definitely recommend Albufeira Sol Hotel and Spa for young couples looking for a fun, relaxed holiday in a great location.

Very clean common areas and rooms. No fault here. Good facilities, kids entertainment and pools.
