Could not recommend highly enough. Hopefully back in April as I enjoyed it so much.
Pros:

It is ideally located on the sea front with only the promenade in front. Rooms were spotless and a powerful shower which I like.
Plus the airport is only 30 minutes a way.

Cons:

What didn’t I enjoy!!! Breakfast was varied and plentiful staff friendly and helpful. Then on the last day I left my prescription glasses at the golf course up the coast. Reception walked me through the whole process of contacting the course, getting a taxi to collect my glasses and deliver them to reception, just brilliant.

Amazing stay!
Pros:

What a lovely stay at this hotel! We arrived just before 8pm and the lady on reception was lovely and friendly during our check in process. We chose to have our evening meal in the hotel due to late arrival and the food was very nice. Room was lovely - very modern and the cot was already set up for our little one. Room and whole hotel area was very clean throughout our stay. Amazing location and great sea views. Some lovely local restaurants on the promenade near the hotel. Great bar area - amazing mojito and mocktails! Would definitely consider booking again but would like to see more facilities for younger families. The hotel is a short walk away from two playground areas though so we used these.

Una pena no haber estado en verano!
Pros:

Localización muy buena, personal e instalaciones muy bien y buen desayuno buffet. Ha sido una pena no poder haber disfrutado de todas las instalaciones del hotel por ser febrero y no hacer clima para ello.

Cons:

Por poner una pega, aunque igual es algo puntual, regular la temperatura de la ducha fue imposible. Salía agua muy caliente, se enfriaba del todo y volvía a calentarse mucho. Pero sin más!

A Great Choice in Quarteira
Pros:

This is a great hotel, located on the Quarteira beachfront. It's great for people watching and easy strolls along the promenade. It's not far for the more adventurous walk to Villamoura.

The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are helpful and welcoming here.

There's a great range for breakfast and a good bar to relax.

We booked a family room, it's much larger than the standard room. Very comfortable beds and a large bathroom and changing room.

I'd recommend the hotel.

Pros:

The hotel is in a lovely location and we easily found parking just outside the door. The entrance is under construction and there could heave been signage as the scaffolding etc blocked the view of the main door. Once bonus was live music on Saturday evident which was quite enjoyable. The rooms and lobby lounge Seemed to have been recently refurbished. Breakfast was good. Even though we encountered inclement weather it was a relaxing stay at the Dom Jose.

Great location.
Pros:

Great location, wonderful views of the Atlantic,very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and comfy, food was very good quality.
The only thing I can say is if the restaurant hours could open earlier, instead of 7pm try opening at 6pm.
Otherwise it was an excellent stay thank you.
