Pros:

Himanshu and Nibin are very helpful. We had a power cut in our room. And they were very helpful during the time. Rooms are cleaned on regular basis. They are thorough and great with their work.

Highly recommended for stay to all my friends and family

Sumit and Anjid are wonderful young men team, working hard to make Le Méridien Royal club guests stay comfortable, they kept my room very clean and enjoyable, they are very professional, polite and honest personality, me and my wit are visiting from United States of America and Gold members of Marriott, I stayed in different hotels but these two gentlemen made our stay exceptionally memorable, we wish them well for their bright career, highly recommend for promotions.

Best experience and great hotel
Pros:

Lovely hotel with great services, its clean, staff are friendly, helpful and approachable. They exceeded my expectation by decorating the bed for my daughter's birthday eventhough I didn't tell them. It looks like the wonderful room keeper saw the birthday cards. Wow, I was impressed. Its a vibrant hotel. Staff at the entrance give you a warm welcome and help when you go out to get on your booked transport. The food is lovely and reasonable Thank you so much, I have already recommended this hotel to friends and family. We will definitely come back. Loved the beautiful Christmas decorations and I will be coming here for Christmas one day.Unfortunately I took mostly videos not pictures.

Not a 5 star hotel...
Pros:

Definitely not a 5-star hotel. This property feels nowhere near luxury and comes across more like a 3.5/4star airport hotel.

First impression was disappointing. The valet did not acknowledge us, open doors, or assist with luggage. We had to handle our bags ourselves, which is not what you expect from a hotel claiming five-star service. Check-in itself was smooth and friendly, which was a positive.

The rooms felt dated overall. Carpets and walls clearly show wear and age. I’m not sure if this was related to booking with free night rewards, but we experienced multiple issues in the room. The shower temperature was very inconsistent, constantly switching between hot and cold, and the faucets appeared clogged and poorly maintained. The bed however was comfortable and internet worked great.

The breakfast buffet was decent with a wide variety of food options, but nothing particularly memorable.

Overall, this is not a property I would return to unless proximity to the airport was the main priority. It does not meet the expectations of a luxury or true five-star hotel.

Our Nice Stay in Dubai
Pros:

The staff is extremely great. Everyone is helpful, friendly and works hard to make your stay perfect. They extended our late checkout and helped us find attractions and aided us in food service, setting up a taxi and finding restaurants. The hotel is up to date and well taken care of with many nice features. The price was very good and our stay was excellent.

They like to cheat you
Pros:

A rather outdated and poor hotel that may have been good about 20 years ago.

The staff are very hard-working and friendly.
At check-out everything was fine, except for the member points, which for some reason could not be credited.

Then, after a week, there was a charge for the minibar, even though the minibar had not even been opened. I never use a minibar.

You then spend half an hour on the phone, are passed from one person to another, and eventually someone assures you that this incorrect charge will be refunded.
And then you never hear from them again, leaving you to wonder whether you should start the whole process all over.

No, you shouldn’t.
You should simply avoid hotels like this and discourage others from choosing them or being willing to pay a completely overpriced price, with the risk of then being cheated as well.

Top notch Airport Hotel
Pros:

Airport hotels don’t get better than this. As close as possible to the airport. Breakfast was a huge positive surprise. Clean and nice.

Only negative was the hotel shuttle: pickup is only every hour at night and they don’t do drop-off to Terminal 2 and don’t tell you that anywhere.

Handy for a Stopover
Pros:

We only stayed at this hotel for a long stopover between flights as it is conveniently located few minutes away from the airport.
The room was spacious and was clean, however this hotel is in need of modernisation.
The hotel had a wide range of restaurants to choose from and we enjoyed the meal we had and the service was very good.

Outstanding City Hotel

Our 2nd visit this year to this hotel in a Royal Club room (best option). After a special time in May made wonderful by so many staff, we had to return to celebrate another birthday. Every aspect of this hotel is outstanding, rooms were spotless due to Regina & Manoj, Dinusan at the pool makes every guest feel welcomed & happy. All the waiting/bar staff are brilliant & this time we had the pleasure of Nang, Lynn, Sanjeewa, Nithin & Nishaan spoiling us with Jiku overseeing all was 110%. Drinks are plentiful with a very varied menu & the afternoon tea & appetizers are above 5* beach hotels. The location to the airport means you are relaxing at the hotel in no time at all, such a bonus & no plane noise either. Numerous pools & extensive gardens are unusual for city hotels. Quadri & Jocelyn at the front desk were so helpful, room & special requests were met with no hesitation, this addition to detail means a lot. Both our trips were for 8 nights, another return trip is booked for next May already. Cannot wait to feel pampered again. Thank you to all, management please pass on our thanks. Alison & Katrina
