We don’t usually go all inclusive but we’ve been missing out, fantastic hotel and complex, plenty of space no long queues 100% relaxing. Food was very good and great selection.
The hotel was amazing and the staff were very helpful and the room was nice. but the pool was very cold in the morning but the food was very nice and it was good that the sea was very close
Hotel - how this hotel gets reviews it does confuses me as a travel agent, food under cooked making me unwell for a day, Buffett is okay if you like pork, pork and well pork. They odd night it would be something different. Children's corner minimal choice for them.
Drinks are limited to 1 choice of beer only then have to pay (same for wines) cocktails limited to pre produced out of a machine not freshly made.
The lounge bar was closed everyday until 9pm then all day on the Friday before closing.
They ran out of alcohol and refused to get some more as it was end of season - how can they think about going 2 days without providing the services we guests paid for. I resolved this issue locally with management
You need to exchange euros for tokens BEFORE you to get scratty plastic cups to use the all inclusive, limited to 1 per person - needs to be highlighted it a exchange basis as no one was prepared for this ( never have I ever been in a hotel that does this ). If you glasses were cleaned up by staff (as mine were) you have to exchange more euros for tokens NO REFUNDS!
Rooms - we booked a standard room, thankfully the hotel upgraded us to a superior, which was okay. Room was cleaned everyday to a good degree however dirty curtains stains and paint flaking off the balcony doors not ideal but was complimentary upgrade from the hotel
On my experience would I recommend this hotel to my clients - no, it wouldn't be my first choice, that said location was good for the town and beach, entertainment team were pretty good
We had a wonderful experience here. The hotel is immaculately clean! Our rooms were cleaned every morning and fresh towels were provided. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The animation team are brilliant and there are several activities during the day for all to take part in. The food is okay, lots of options and is fresh. I would most definitely recommend!
Went for 5 nights. Nice room, food ok,drink very very weak, coffee undrinkable, good entertainment team. Head waiter in the restaurant very friendly and professional, the kids loved his magic tricks of pulling lolly pops out of nowhere, he should train the miserable bar staff on how to smile and be approachable. The lady who cleaned our room (I think her name was Miriam) was lovely.
I booked this hotel and paid my money because it was advertised as a fun friendly hotel, ideal for children. It was for 3 days then it all went downhill. The pool bar closed on our 3rd day because they said it was the end of the season and they was cleaning it! There was no entertainment on the last day, the pool upstairs was closed and the ice lolly’s run out. We were told we had to have lunch between 1-2 because they were having a staff party. The lunch consisted of burgers or hotdogs ( I didn’t pay £2000 to go to Spain and eat burgers or hotdogs)The bar staff and more importantly the life guards disappeared. Surely this should have all been done when we had all FINISHED our holiday.
Whilst waiting for our transfer we were made to feel very uncomfortable. Managers and reception standing around waiting for us to go.
Would I return to this hotel? Absolutely not, There are far better family friendly hotels. Don’t waste your money especially if you intend going at the end of the season. I didn’t get any discount for going at the end of the season so I should have been given a choice of all the amenities that were advertised until my holiday finished!
This was our fifth visit to this hotel so we knew what to expect. The food is OK, the salad bar is very good but struggled to like anything to go with it except fish but fish twice a day is quite repetitive. lots of choices of desserts so can't complain there. The room was lovely and clean only downside was it faced the road which was very noisy at night. Our cleaner dolozes was lovely and friendly as was all staff except pepe at the bar seemed quite miserable which some other guests said they thought so as well . He seemed chatty with the guests who tipped though. The drinks were very weak. Night entertainment wasn't as good as previous years. All in all enjoyed our holiday except a few niggles.
So we booked last minute to get some well needed sun. Was greeted at reception when we finally arrived by The loverly Oscar who continued to be a credit throughout the holiday. The food was great fresh salads and good protein choices. The drinks were ok but its all inclusive and the local shop sells nice red wine for 4 euros , so a bottle opener later! I Did enjoy the brandy coffee/hot chocolate. We hired a car to adventure and found some fabulous sea swim spots on the island, Benirras being a favourite. The hippy market was ok would be good with kids play area as they get bored easy.
Sorry back to hotel bar staff are loverly, and deserve tips!
Lila our cleaner was amazing and it was so nice to have someone fold my clothes she's a star.
Entertainment all the team were fabulous with the children but especially Indie and the lady who I forgot her name.
The host for the restaurant was very nice, he was so pleasant and charming again another credit to hotel, sorry again forgot his name.
All in all I would highly recommend, my son finally joined the kids disco on the last night and loved it. Always activities if you want to join great entertainment team and all staff were great.
Also the swop boxes with lotions and inflatables for the kids are a fabulous green idea , and we'll appreciated. 😍😍😍
Once you have the ereso bug there is no going back.
We have now been twice once in June then in Oct, wether wasn't great first week storms. But still had a fabulous time. Didn't want to come home. Good food, lovely staff, clean rooms. Entertainment team all lovely and work really hard as do all the staff. Looking forward to returning next year for our third visit.
This is our second visit to the Ereso Hotel this year! After coming in May we booked straight away to return this week. Tonight is our last night and we have had an absolutely amazing time. We are already talking about booking for next year and we haven’t even left yet. The choice at meal times is brilliant. All staff are so friendly from the reception staff to the bar staff and nothing is too much trouble at all. Our room on the second floor 220 was absolutely spotless and was cleaned every day. This is a pool view room which we have enjoyed very much. One of the best things about the hotel is the entertainment team who put on different activities throughout the day. Our particular favourites have been aqua dance and water polo which we have enjoyed every day. The entertainment on the night is equally as brilliant and they always put so much effort into this. Today we played water polo and the entertainers played as well ! Thank you to Toni Indy and Kasia along with the rest of the team for making our holiday so fun! We can’t wait to come back soon.
I can't fault this hotel. It was much better than what I actually expected. I was upgraded to a superior room for my birthday while I was there.
Food, the products available on the buffet were excellent, however, I wasn't to keen as I found everything was cooked in herbs. I'm not keen at all on herbs. But not an issue, just mention it to the griddle chef and they will cook you food the way you like it. The pool area was excellent, always a sunbed available throughout the day. It is a bit of a sun trap so top up on sun tan lotion.
Location is brilliant. I found the staff were amazing toward their clientele. Nothing was to much hassle. Would I come again? Within the drop of a hat I would.
Just back from a 5 day stay at the Ereso, couldn't fault it at all. Room was perfect and exactly as pictured (Superior double on 6th floor). Amazing sunrise view over the sea. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout with excellent maid service and towel change every day. Staff were all great, extremely friendly and helpful and check in/out was smooth and welcoming. We arrived late at night so restaurant was closed but we were given sandwiches, snacks and drinks on arrival. Food in the restaurant was fabulous, fresh and varied at every meal time. The snacks at the pool bar were great, Some drinks/snacks and ice creams are charged for, but unless you're very particular there was still plenty of choice on the all-inclusive. The glass token system works really well as it means you're not surrounded by empty glasses everywhere. Entertainment was ok, the best night without doubt was the Boogie nights, those guys were absolutely fantastic! The lovely beach is a short 5 minute walk down the road but we walked a little further round the coast (to the left) and found the most stunning beach with soft fine sand and crystal clear water, think it was Cala Nova but not 100% sure, it was about a 20 minute walk but well worth it. Over all we had a fantastic stay here and would definitely return.
A highly recommended hotel. Location close to the sea, great views, delicious food with a variety of choices. Very friendly staff, always helpful. Entertainment during the day, no chance of being bored. Rooms and pool are very clean. We would definitely return. A hotel for everyone, couples and families as well. We recommend it 10/10.
We travelled as a group of 4 couples & we all had a great time at this hotel. We all felt we had value for money!
Rooms -
Pros - We had a sea view room which was perfect for us, spotlessly clean & comfy beds
Cons - rooms are a bit tired & likewise the bathrooms, shower over small bath with a shower curtain 🤦♀️ but plenty of hot water & good water pressure
Food -
Pros - really good fresh food at every meal, as with every AI, the food could be hotter but there is a microwave. I’m known for being very fussy & I enjoyed every meal, particularly the seafood paella at lunch & the Mexican night.
Cons - the coffee from the machine is not nice, none of us could drink it or the ‘orange juice’ from the machine. Small moans in the grand scheme of things. The bar made exceptionally good coffee at a small cost.
Pool area
Lovely & clean,Plenty of sunbeds, lots of space, pool bar great. The glass deposit scheme is such a good idea.
Very good choice of drinks for the AI.
Entertainment was really very good, both by the lovely team on site & acts that came in in the evening
Location is great, close to everything.
Last but not least - all the staff were fabulous, polite, friendly & helpful
Hotel Staff are brilliant pool and hotel grounds clean as was the room cleaning. Food ok no problems no salt or pepper on tables could not get used to that sat down then back up to get them from a corner by the salad area. The only problem we had was a trip we did came across another hotel in the invista group called in to see what it was like asked the front desk if we could have a look round no problem was told and you may have a drink if you want so we did small beer and a wine. Then asked for 6 euro told the bar man that we are told it was ok had to take him to reception to prove it and he was told it,s ok at that we departed and was chased by another reception employee asking for you guessed it 6 euro felt like a criminal. So would we return very much dought it but like i said this hotel gets lots of return guests best advert you can have but we will not be returning to the invista group
Was recommended this hotel as we’d been to the area for years and never tried it.
First impression was good at reception,
The room was clean and bright, (508) then we opened the balcony door and unfortunately we was above the kitchens and as most know that holiday abroad the smells from them ain’t the best,
Had to visit reception to change rooms where I had to challenge delboy the same receptionist that checked us in
I was happy to pay a little to upgrade as that was the only option but not pay full price, the smell meant we could not sit out and chill,
Suprised that when we collected our belongings from the room the cleaner commented on the the smell and was it that, that had us change rooms !
They already know then…
New room pool view 315 clean and bright the same great view we was happy and ready to get on with the holiday!
That night the room next door returned not loudly but the walls are thin and we heard everything they said including the phone call she made to her friend including what her friend said!
Plus the following morning the 4th floor cleaner at 8am wanted to be a dj with the 30mins of scratching/dragging stuff around the room right what we need after being awake for nearly 24 hrs the day before, can’t fault the cleaners they graft and the place is clean
Food.
Breakfast is ok edible warm and pleasant
Dinner not a lot of choice and not the best quality same with tea/evening meal
Drinks not a bad choice and ok (some other hotels can be very cheap stuff)
Bar staff pleasant apart from one I could tell him my drink 5 times before he listened!
Pools clean tidy all them life guard one wonders round the pool all day well mannered and checks the other sits under the tree and don’t move,
Entertainment team well they are like most fun and out going till Saturday night show and then WOW musical night they did their own production and it was great to watch very entertaining they went all out for it and it showed they deserved a standing ovation,
On a over all the place I would stay again
Room for Improvement easily could have a made a five star review but could have made a 3 we had a good time tho and was happy
We visited this Hotel in June for the first time and returned in September as it’s our new favourite Hotel. The bar staff are friendly and quick. The Chefs are the reason we returned as they were so helpful and knowledgeable about gluten free food as I’m Coeliac. They were happy to help and they did it all with a smile on their face. The young guy on the grill was so professional as soon as he saw me he got someone to help me before I’d even asked. They all took it very seriously and checked everything for me ,this meant that I had complete confidence in them and I enjoyed every meal like everyone else.I usually accept that I’ll react to some of the food because of cross contamination but the Ereso is the only Hotel I’ve ever stayed at and not had a reaction. The reason for that is the amazing chefs,I appreciate your help on both my visits and I’m looking forward to returning
Fabulous hotel. Staff were brilliant. Food was amazing. There were 3 pools, one for kiddies and one noisy one for games etc and one on a higher ground which was relaxing. We paid for a superior room which was lovely with beautiful views of the coast/sea. Plenty of bars and eateries around. The Nags Head round back of hotel is great, gorgeous meals looks nothing from outside but when you go though it is great. Ferry trip to Old Town is a must too. Popeyes had some good shows on later but drinks bit dear. We ate at hotel had few drinks then walked along later on. The staff at hotel were all very friendly and helpful and work so hard. The place is spotless. We were there when floods came and electrics went off I hotel. Staff were fabulous in dealing with problems. Would definitely recommend for the price we paid.
Here now for seven days
Asked for quiet room and that's what we got
Paid for superior pool view double
We in room 309 overlooking entertainment stage
With being disabled this was fabulous as we could see all from our room !
Staff are so friendly and cannot do enough for every guest regardless of having been here before or not
Which we haven't encountered before in other hotels
Food varied and of excellent quality
Never before have we been twice to same hotel but already looking to book for next year !
Well done to all the staff at ereso you are all amazing 😍 🤩
Stayed here last year with my son came back again not planned on my own but circumstances dictate what happens I would highly recommend this hotel staff are great foods really decent rooms cleaned daily drink by bar staff is plentiful.all in all if coming back to es canar I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again .
Yes OK so it's 3 star but honestly we had an amazing stay. The entertainment day and night was good. The selection and quality of food was great with a nice open feel to the restaurant. Every single member of staff were very pleasant and helpful with a smile. Plenty of out door space with plenty of sunbeds ,tables and chairs. 2 quite large pools. The entertainment team have games etc going on during the day. The only thing wrong was our room was a little dated and overlooked a roof but as we said we only really were in the room at night because you really want to be out on the terrace.
Good selection of drinks, all inclusive until 12 at night.
Now one thing and I seen this for many years. Don't book 3 star if you expect 5 star although I do think this hotel should be 4 stars.
