Fantastic experience
Pros:

It was truly a lovely experience! my family and I stayed there in June for a week, and good thing we did because it was already really hot and staff told us that in July and August it is much worse! so good thing we did think this through.
When it comes to the hotel, the rooms are spacious and clean, the pool is nice and refreshing; just be mindful that if you’re not used to the sun you will get burned! so be aware of that, it’s Sicily after all.
I will recommend but I think it is definitely targeted to couples and not very family targeted so keep that in mind

The hotel was fantastic. The staff were incredibly accommodating, from the dining staff, to the front desk, to the cleaners. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly throughout our entire stay.
The facilities were also excellent. The spa is fantastic and was the main stand out part of the hotel. I would truly recommend experiencing it when staying here
The food was amazing, and we tried the breakfast every day and also ate and drank at the lounge bar. Everything we were served was great and the service was of course excellent too.
This is one of the best hotel stays ever, and it is a testament to the staff there. They clearly take such pride in their hospitality and it was a true treat.

Cons:

The location was the only thing I'd say here. It is close to Mazara del Vallo which is lovely. Outside of this it is at least a 30 minute drive to another touristy town.

A fantastic break at the Almar
Pros:

We had a wonderful week staying at the Almar.
Alberto and the hotel team went out of their way to ensure my partner and I had a relaxing holiday. Alberto is a experienced professional and his approach to ensuring a top class service is delivered to guests is evident across all areas of the hotel. A 5 star service.
Special mention to Ed, the porter / driver on the front desk - always happy and will do anything for you.
The shuttle service to town is a great benefit for evening dinner.
Spa was excellent. Highlight of the stay. I didn't have any treatments but my partner had 3 and said they were really good.
The Yoga guy was top notch - the best I have ever had. You must book this.
The pool is great for a swim before breakfast.
Breakfast buffet to a really high standard with lots of options available. Very friendly waiters. We had one meal in the restaurant on the last night and it was probably the best meal all week to be fair.
Room was modern, clean and regularly serviced by staff. We had a view of the pool - well worth the extra cost.
We loved our days out to the Selinunte Temples / cave di cusa / Marsala town and wine and olive tours.
Overall, a superb time at the this hotel.

Quiet location
Pros:

Very spacious and clean rooms with a large terrace. Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious and beautifully designed spa.

Cons:

The room was poorly soundproofed; the TV, coughing, conversations...everything could be heard.
I was surprised that a hotel in Sicily did not serve freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast. You could order juice, but it was not fresh, it was pre-made and kept in the refrigerator, and there was very little of it. Having to pay extra for fried eggs or avocado is also not very appealing. I would rather pay more for the room and not have to deal with ordering and signing receipts for every plate.

Wir sind absolut begeistert von unserem Aufenthalt. Der Service hier ist außergewöhnlich: Das Personal ist freundlich, herzlich und sehr aufmerksam. Das Zimmer war ein Musterbeispiel an Sauberkeit und Komfort, mit bequemen Betten und einem schönen Detail – der zweimal täglichen Zimmerreinigung. Das Frühstück ist fantastisch! Neben dem Buffet konnten wir kostenlos frisch gepressten Saft, individuell zubereitetes Omelett, Spiegelei oder pochiertes Ei bestellen und, was uns besonders freute, den Tag mit einem Prosecco beginnen.
​Das Hotel bietet einen ausgezeichneten SPA-Bereich und kostenlose Aktivitäten wie Yoga sowie Wein- und Ölverkostungen.
​Zur Lage: Das Hotel befindet sich in einem eher abgelegenen Teil der Insel. Der nächstgelegene Strand (15 Minuten Fahrt) hat uns nicht beeindruckt. Wer ein Auto hat, kann jedoch im Umkreis von einer Stunde Fahrt echte Juwelen entdecken – wir waren begeistert von der Stadt Sciacca und dem einsamen Strand zwischen La Pineta und La Solette.
