Great location, pleasant stay but not without issues
Pros:

Fantastic location, hard to beat with a 2 min walk to the main square. Just off the Main Street as well with shops and supermarkets. Bed was really comfy, room a decent size.

Cons:

First night I slept really well, however pillows are really small and not the thickest so you need to find the 2 spares and stack them. On the first morning, running the tap in the shower room. I noticed a vile sewage smell starting to build up. Water was coming up inside the bath when I hadn’t even ran the bath (just sink). Clearly there was a blockage/drainage issues. The smell was so strong I felt physically sick. I couldn’t use the shower and used my friends as there was 2 of us with a room each. I reported this to reception who wasn’t the most accommodating and just said we’ll get the technician to check. I left for the day to explore and upon return in the evening, I asked if the issue was solved and the receptionist said the technician couldn’t smell anything. Not good enough, the water had obviously drained away by the time the technician will have went and he didn’t even think to run the tap. I ran the tap again and same issue occurred. The smell was building again. I demanded a new room and staff accommodated this eventually. The final 2 night were fine, no more sewage issues in the new room.

Pros:

It a great location 10 minutes walk from the train station the room was a lovely size and hotel great location just 2 minutes from main square with plenty of restaurants.

loved the hotel, really friendly staff and a perfect location. the room was really spacious and clean, and I loved the Rituals toiletries in the room they smelled gorgeous! Great that you can leave your luggage too.

Cons:

there was a bit of a sewage smell from the bathroom and some better pillows would have been great, but really minor things for such a great hotel overall
